ZippoNautical Lighters

Upon receipt, my poor auntie finally lost her mind. We'd been expecting it for years, so we were only a little surprised when she started raving about "the songs of the night things that stride serene and toxic at the fringes."Anyhow, it's a great lighter and I'm sure Aunt Rose will be fine.

The detail on this cthulu zippo is incredible. It feels as though it's etched into the light and the gold really shines on the black service.The zippo is easily one of my favorites and in my rotation frequently.

This is my first 'real' Zippo, I've had cheap imitations in the past. Great price on this one here on Amazon compared to Zippo.com! Most of the negative reviews of Zippos don't understand how they work, they come empty and you have to add a liquid fuel. I also ordered the butane insert, apparently the butane won't work up here at 9000 feet above sea level. I've had bics that are reliable but they will discharge all the fuel in your pocket. I've also bought real expensive butane lighters, most won't work at high elevation and most of the others are very unreliable and not repairable. There's a reason the Zippo was the number one lighter used in both world wars. Here's a hint: cut a section of bike innertube that is 1.5 inches wide and cover the entire lighter, it will keep the fuel in there for months! It also protects the finish. Great for an EDC lighter with the innertube if not used that much. In the world wars they also used gasoline as a fuel in these lighters, they used a wire and dunked them in their vehicle gas tanks LOL. If you really understand the Zippo you won't use anything else!

I collect antique lighters and have quite a few old Zippos in my collection.This one struck my eye simply because of the Cthulhu themed engraving, and I bought it to be my every day carry lighter.The quality of the laser etching is fantastic, and of course it performs wonderfully as any zippo does.I’m probably going to stop using this one soon and add it to my collection, because it’s so beautifully carved it’s bound to be a classic and collectible in the future.

The media could not be loaded.  I purchased the black "nautical monster" (aka Cthulhu) Zippo lighter. I love this lighter case. I immediately replaced the standard insert with a butane insert, so I have no comment on the naptha-fueled insert. It currently has a Zippo "yellow flame" butane insert, which fits it perfectly. (I just wrote a review of that, but the short version is that it's brilliant and I love it.)I simply couldn't be happier. I bought a second one to have as a spare in case Zippo stops making them.

Product came in and on time, Very nice gift for D&D players. Son loved it and is very proud of it. He does not smoke or anything so it will likely sit on the display shelf forever but first thing he did was call his friends and send pictures of it then set it front and center on display stand.

I have bought some pretty-looking useless junk lighters in the past but... I'm very pleased with this purchase. The lighter has a good weight, looks good, and most importantly - lights on the first try. The flame burns consistently. Solid construction. everything works as it should. It doesn't evaporate all the fluid if unused for a few days. This is a dependable lighter that will last a while. I would definitely gift it.

Cthulhu fans this is the zippo for you! The artwork on the lighter is gorgeous and it comes with everything you need, except lighter fluid. It’s easy to put together and fill.This lighter is perfect for carrying around, but I’m sure a lighter thief will love to take this one off of your hands, so keep a close eye on it.

After buying myself a Zippo last year I have noticed that the other half is pinching it more and more frequently so decided that it was about time he got one of his own. I should really have got him a plain black one like mine so I could sneakily swap them over but decided that this design would be a better choice - mainly because it looks vaguely like him with the long hair and beard in - ahem - silver (you know what I mean).Genuine product which did surprise me as the nearest outlet that sells Zippo branded products even the basic models start at £25 and for anything with a design you are looking well over £30. Admittedly the design appears to be a transfer rather than an engraving but for the price what do you expect. the image is centred well and there are no issues with it crossing over the lid.Comes unfilled so you will need to buy fuel and I do recommend the Zippo brand lighter petrol. Works as expected and I feel rewarded for my brand loyalty as the quality is just as good as it was when I got my first ever Zippo back in the late 1980s.

Love the simplicity of the lighter. Very well constructed and a lovely piece of decorative artwork. This is a replacement for a brass one my wife lost a while back and it's for a survival kit when I'm out shooting.

What can I say, typical great lighter, you cannot beat a good zippo!It works like a zippo should, has a nice loud click as you open / close it!The design stands out well with the design being very clear. The viking has a patch over 1 eye which is a gold colour making it stand out well from the grey background. So all in all a great buy.

Wish I'd taken photos but wrapped and given as a present. My brother absolutely loved it. He has a few Zippo lighters and this one just made it to top of the list. Definitely recommend it!
