I do a lot of arts and crafts and got these acrylic pens to test out a mess-free alternative to painting, and to open up more painting activities on a wider ranges of mediums for me to experiment with, and I am very impressed with this set!The pens are extremely easy to use and look gorgeous on paper. I’ve noticed that the black and white pens are thinner (1-2 mm) than the rest of the colours (2-3 mm), which works well for outlining or writing on top of a coloured background. The colours are also beautifully vibrant and dry quite fast.The paint also comes out seamlessly from the pen, so there are no ugly breaks whilst painting. I found that a wet paintbrush can be used for a softer look when blending colours, and began experimenting with it to create different blended effects - the possibilities are endless!The pens also draw vividly on polymer clay and air-dry clay - though, for polymer clay, I would recommend baking the clay again after painting so that the paint lasts longer.I highly recommend this as they are virtually mess-free and perfect for kids and adults to use. You can also paint wherever you go without having to carry a palette, paintbrush, and water cup with you. I used these acrylic markers to make a birthday card recently. Lockdown and coronavirus means I won't go out to buy cards and I needed a card for a friend's 60th birthday. I made a pop-up card and used the paints to paint veins on leaf shapes, details on butterflies etc. The paint is thick enough to cover well in a single stroke but not so thick as to make a mess or make it difficult to control. If you hold the nib down, the paint will blob making it easy to mix colours and spread as you would with a brush and paint. Being acrylic, there is very little smell, and it dries quicker than paint, but not as quickly as an oil-based marker pen. Unfortunately, I excitedly delivered the card to my neighbour and forgot to photograph it, which is a pity as I was very pleased with my first home-made card attempt. The set comes with an excellent selection of colours and textured postcards to paint and send. I say paint, but really the process is more like colouring with felt-tip pens rather than painting with a brush. the pens wouldn't last very long painting with them and I shall keep them for adding outlines and detail to projects. I really do like them though.

I've never had a set of acrylic markers, which is what these purport to be, and was intrigued to see if they were any different to more regular markers. I have to say I'm struggling to find a difference.They're standard enough in how you get them started - good noisy rollerball inside so give a few shakes and then wait for the paint to drop down - overdo it and you'll get a lovely big mess on your card or stone or whatever. So be patient. But paint coverage of the nib is complete quickly and not patchy as some cheaper makes might be.You get a decent range of colours in the set but I'm disappointed that they didn't have the more classic colours e.g. red or a lighter blue but that's a minor niggle. At least with this set you do get the much finer nibs on the 2 primary pens - black & white, as they're often what would be used for sketching works.They do a reasonable job of painting without too much transparency although I found the white needed a LOT of paint to stay solid when being used on my plastic recycling box lid - it was very wishy washy in parts. On a less shiny surface, they fared better and provided good coverage. Unlike some other sets which tend to only have larger nibs, these actually do a better job of enabling you to use as art pens in creating pictures. I used to paint a lot but struggle much more now because of severely arthritic hands, so not showing my dire creations - just take it from me, that if you're into acrylics or wanting to take up painting as a new hobby, these are indeed a good starter option.

This is a nice starter set of pastel colour acrylic pens. You get six coloured pens and a black and white fine tipped pen. Inside you also get a set of plain postcards that you can decorate with your design. All of the pens work and the colour doesn't come out too blobby . They work on glass , wood and even garden stones. They are easier to use on flat surfaces and you need to be careful not to smudge your design. The price is a little on the expensive side when there are cheaper alternatives but considering the quality and the named brand of the product I'm happy to recommend them.

This item arrived safe and well packaged.This is a really nice set of acrylic colouring pens! They're just like painting with acrylic paints. They flow nicely and can help create some really stunning artwork!The ink/paint has a really good coverage once its fully flowing. There are also a nice selection of strong colours here. The ink in these pens seems to last for a great while too, so you'll be able to create some incredible works of art before they run out!They will pretty much cover any surface too, so whether you're wanting to pain rocks, scissors or paper, they'll work just fine. They're permanent ink, so they will stay wherever they are put!I highly recommend this product.

These acrylic pens are really nicely designed. The paint flows easily unlike in other trademarks and it has excellent coverage. The colours are true to the ones displayed in the pen lids. I have taken a picture to display their range and thickness, the yellow is actually much paler but my camera darkens it, sorry.It is a beautiful set of colours for nordic designs and it includes fine tip black and white to add detail and outlining.The pen bodies are transparent so that you can tell how much paint you have left.I have done a small picture in the corner so that you can see that the colours can be painted on once dry, without smudging.Just be aware that they are medium dry speed, so don't rush!Aww and the free textured paper postcards to decorate are a really nice touch!

my daughter asked for these as a christmas gift however when it arrived the package containing the markers was opened and looked used. I ordered a replacement and i can only hope this one is new and unused when it arrives
