I looked at all of the reviews for this CCTV monitor (this is NOT a TV) and none of them spoke to the sound and the dimensions were not consistent. We have it in our kitchen in a cabinet that is exactly 16" wide and 14" tall. We had a very old TV in here that we couldn't fix so we needed some kind of replacement. Unfortunately, this was all we could find. That said, the picture is very good for a small MONITOR. There are many options to customize it to your liking. The sound, however, is horrible; it sounds like you are under water despite options to work with the sound and we could not stand to listen to it. Instead of returning the monitor because it was the only one that would fit in our cabinet we had cheap little Logitech 5 1/2" monitor speakers that we attached to the audio jack in back and now it is perfect for the space. We have cut our cord (FINALLY!) so we bought a Fire TV stick with Alexa to hook into the HDMI slot on the back of the monitor and now we can stream all of our apps without any issue. I have attached pictures so you can see it in the space and what the picture quality and speakers look like. Note that the monitor with the stand is EXACTLY 13" tall; the monitor alone is 10 3/4" tall and 13 3/4" wide. The remote control is cheap and we have not been able to integrate it with the fire stick because it is a CCTV and not on the compatible TV devices. We are happy with this only because it was the right fit for our custom kitchen cabinets. If you have more room, go for a smart TV, it would have been much cheaper and better quality in the long run if we could have found a small one that would fit our cabinet but we couldn't so this works for us.

Does it's job well and easy to use. One thing I didn't like is that the screen can not really be adjusted like a computer screen.

The media could not be loaded.  We installed a nice security system in our house last summer. In addition to cameras throughout, we also have a back up hard drive that stores approximately 21 days worth of data. There is a website where I can access the data as well as an app, but we wanted to have a place in our home where we could check the screen periodically as needed. Initially, my husband rigged my additional computer monitor that I use for work for this purpose. It has two inputs so the idea was that I could switch back-and-forth. Well that never happened, not to mention that it created an issue that my desk in the office is not in close enough proximity to the hard drive that we did struggle with connectivity, mouse range, and other issues. So I checked Amazon for something smaller that I could mount, I wasn’t even sure what I was looking for until I ran across this. When it arrived I thought it was going to be too small, but it’s perfect. I mounted it to the wall very easily with the hardware using the adhesive that came with the item, it’s been mounted for several weeks now with no issues. I just love the remote, I can walk into the room and flip it on and off as needed. It takes a couple of seconds to turn on but it turns off immediately, see the video for details. The quality of the picture is also magnificent, much better than I expected for a smallish screen. this was definitely worth it, has been connected in 10 minutes and even though he wasn’t entirely on board with the new arrangement he likes it a great deal now.

I bought this monitor hoping it would be a cheap display option for my C64 since it has speakers and RCA composite input. Unfortunately there are a number of problems.First, there's a band of static that moves from the bottom of the screen to the top. It's so bad that text becomes unreadable.Second, the colors are really poor and bleed into each other (this is what's pictured, though you can see a little bit of the static band as well).As an aside, I verified that these issues are *not* from the C64. For one thing, the C64's composite output shows up perfectly fine on other TVs and monitors I have. For another, I tried hooking up both the C64 via a retrotink mini x2 upscaler and my modern laptop via HDMI, and both issues remained. Overall, the video quality of this monitor is unacceptable even if you're using purely digital HDMI.Third, the power cord that this comes with is extremely short, and didn't reach from my desk to the power strip on the floor directly beneath it.This monitor is probably good enough for its intended purpose, but it definitely does not work as a small, versatile monitor for your retro computers or game consoles. You're better off spending your money on a quality 4:3 monitor from the mid-2000s.

Good quality monitor, with clear picture. Very versatile. I can connect various types of computers, included my small collection of vintage computers.

Quite pleased withe picture quality

An excellent high resolution video device. HDMI input great. VGA adapts automatically. Audio/Video input great. Did not try the BNC input - I have no security cameras. The USB input can decode mp3 audio and mp4 movies.The speakers are OK but there is no earphone jack.

Say that you are getting an ips monitor, but it is definitely a tft… the ol bait n switch routine.
