This is a unique and beautiful piece! The wood is gorgeous. This keeps our family room warm and blends in wonderfully with our decor. Please know this item comes boxed, be prepared to put together. Will need a helping hand, some pieces are heavy. The final result is something to admire.

This fireplace assembly is advanced skill level in my opinion and took me over three hours. I was not happy to see that the heater is only rated for 400 sq/ft not the 1000 sq/ft as advertised on Amazon listing. This unit would heat up a very small bathroom at best. I definitely would not purchase this unit again since heat is the primary reason for my fireplace purchase. I hate false advertising!!! The heater box is the last piece to be assembled so I discovered this fact too late. AMAZON SHOPPERS BE AWARE!!!!

It meets all expectations that we where looking for

This review and my is on assembly and my assembly tips only. I put this fireplace together for a friend. I’m not sure if she bought it on Amazon.Assembly time was about 3.5 hoursHave a well lit area !!!! Have a drop light or at least a bright flashlight.Assemble on carpet.It’s packed well in a 1 big box with lots of Styrofoam padding . The heating unit is in a separate smaller box.Make sure you have a few Quality, repeat quality!!!!!! , Phillips head screwdrivers with a few different medium / average head sizes. Do not use the cheap dollar store Or “junk draw” screwdrivers !!!! Some of screws require lots of downward pressure with your hands while screwing in the screws. A cheap screwdriver will cause damage to the screw if the screwdriver starts “slipping”.You will need someone to help lift the “almost assembled“ unit On to the base.Do not skip any steps you don’t understand. I was overall happy with instructions. If anything is Questionable in the instructions, just study at the sketch/drawings . You will see small hints that are very detailed in the drawings in the instruction manual.I didn’t attach or tether this fireplace to a wall. As there are no children in the household. I’m not reviewing the heating unit of this device, but the flame was very attractive during the quick test and my friend was also very happy with the simulated flame . I’m not reviewing any Aspect heat output.Another tip. If your are moving the unit after assembly , Especially going up or down on a staircase, don’t install the heating unit into the fireplace until fireplace is in its permanent location. ( it’s the very last step anyway) This will lighten the fireplace by 40 pounds. Making the move easier. The heating u it is held in place my 4 screws. Should the heating unit dislodge while moving, It could cause a serious injury.Again. Bright Light , a few quality Phillips head screwdrivers ( medium to small sizes and a “stubby” screwdriver too ) 3-4 non rushed hours to Assemble on carpet or at the very least a very large padded moving padI’m very happy, as my friend with the final outcome.It’s a very solid fireplace.
