Excellent replacement for the cheap plastic valves. They are heavy duty and work perfect.

great solid product for every end of every hose
Brass shutoffs are a must if going any kind of gardening or landscaping. Durable, solid, and minimal pressure or volume drop. Seals and seats nicely and the valve is always easy to turn.

Solid Brass, does the job
Works as it should, no leaks. Comes with 4 washers, a nice extra. Knocked off a star because when it arrived the lever that opens and closes the valve was stuck, as if glued in place. I pushed and pulled for half an hour and was ready to give up and return it. Finally the lever moved. Now it works smoothly.

HEAVY DUTY, PRECISION MADE, AND QUALITY
I bought these valves to go along with the quick connect hose attachments that I reviewed here just a moment ago. I bought 6 units of these valves ( I run quite a few watering hoses) and never had any problems and kept dry while using the many hoses. In fact I will be buying 2 or 3 more of these valves along with 2 or 3 more of the hose quick connect (reviewed just moments ago) for my neighbor as he was ranting and raving about these items. Then maybe I will get the one back that I lent him last June or July. Jasper, if you are reading this then you know what to do ! LOL

Seem to be well made
I got tired of walking back-and-forth 100 feet (~30m) to the house faucet to change hose connections at the far end, without getting sprayed and wet. These valves permit turning off the water, at the far end, to comfortably add or remove other hoses or sprinklers. Also, in certain circumstances, it's nice to leave the hose pressurized in the hot sun to help unkink any kinks. These hose valves are brass, with a small handle (doesn't get in the way, doesn't get hooked on things). Water flow can be adjusted from OFF, through various dribbles and sort-of mist, up to a tight stream when fully ON (tighter focus than an open hose). Comes with four extra washers. Price was fair, but not cheap.

Garden hose shut off valve!
Good quality as I’ve purchased this before! It comes with two stop leaks washers for each, a nice touch. The price is also fair.
