Over the the top visual history of my scene
My wife and I were a part of the SF garage punk scene in the 90s enjoying cheap beer at the Purple Onion, Bottom of the Hill and the Kilowatt. I remember Teengenerate's first SF shows and all the killer bands that came down from from similar scenes in Seattle, Texas, Ohio, Japan, and more. Estrus was one of the best record labels for scene, hands down. I had well over 100 7" singles from Estrus records alone. I loved the majority of the bands, and I really loved the artwork and cool packaging, and colored vinyl that elevated the low budget scene with a lot of Class. Thank you Art Chantry for years of kick ass covers!!! This coffee table book brought me so much joy to read and relive those great memories. The Mono Men were never my favorite, but their DIY ambitions made them pioneers and ambassadors of sleazy, trashy, raw rock'n'roll. If they ever make a garage rock hall of fame, the Mono Men and Estrus records will be in the first class. Thank you Dave Crider for decades of great music!!! If you were into the scene, or just a fan of independent rock'n'roll, this book will trigger so many great memories!!

The Little Label That Could!
A phenomenal look--both visually and through the written story--into a one-man enterprise that reshaped the punk-rock 'n' roll circuit of the 90s.
