X-Wing Fighter Star Wars MacBook - Disney Mac Laptop Vinyl Decal Sticker

I read the negative reviews but went ahead with this decal - not disappointed! I was able to order a custom color (chrome/silver) and specify the size for my laptop. I took my time applying the decal and didn’t experience any issues with it staying on the paper vs sticking to my laptop - just rub the decal well and pull the paper back slowly. Overall very happy with this!

Perfect fit on my 15" mac pro, though it does take a bit of doing to get the canopy exactly over the apple logo. In my case I ended up rotating the decal slightly so that the lower port side laser cannon wraps off the surface, which is a bummer, but when the logo lights up it's fully contained in the canopy and looks spectacular. As a side note, I was able to mod the wing markings to represent the ship of Wedge's "Red Two" rather than Luke's "Red Five".

The sticker came in an unclosed envelope, but that's fine because the product was still in there. It was really hard to paste it over the apple, especially positioning it where the apple was totally covered by the sticker. Couldn't reposition it after taking off the first film as the small parts of the sticker already stuck to the laptop. It doesn't look perfect at all, so wouldn't use it for long, might just get another sticker that is easy to put on. Other than that, the sticker is okay quality, it tore on one side of the sticker. If you can get it right to cover that apple and not make any tears, it would have been an awesome sticker.

This is so cool. It wasn't that hard to apply, it just takes time to peel the top sheet and sticker off the backing, then I opened my Mac so the backlight was on when I positioned and applied the sticker. I rotated the top sheet a couple degrees clockwise to better cover the apple logo. I also ordered a clear plastic case to keep my sticker in perfect shape.

This was easy to install onto my MacBook Air, and I regularly get compliments on it. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is that a couple of the smaller parts of the decal fell off almost immediately. I haven't noticed any additional parts of the decal falling off since then, and it doesn't significantly affect the appearance, but it's not perfect.

A really cool product except for two problems. First, the application is extremely challenging. The strip that the sticker is attached to is not transparent and you can't see if you are placing it over the apple. Also, this sticker will not work on the newer versions of the MacBook since the apple is smaller. I got my sticker on the best I could, but it was impossible to put on without some space between the apple and the cockpit due to the fact that I have a newer computer.

Got this for my son's birthday gift. It was a nice way to turn a handed down laptop into his own

This decal looks incredible, thats why i give it 5 stars but i have to say, theres no room for mistake when placing the sticker, if you miss by 2mm, a bit of light of the apple logo will show in another place than the window. Another thing is to peel carefully because the small mini pieces of black may come off with the peeled paper instead of staying on the computer. Overall this sticker deserves 5 stars but application is really challenging. Have patience
