Very Well Made Port Assembly
My iphone 6S charging port had given up the ghost. I ordered this port replacement because of numerous good reviews. The reviews were right. The port assembly fit exactly and it is working perfectly. I will say that anyone getting ready to do this fix, make sure that you get an online screw chart. Not only use the screw chart to place your screws on but mark all screws on the chart according to length because some screws are longer than others and it's critical that the screw goes in the proper hole. I also followed video commenters' advice about connecting the battery last to keep from shorting out anything. Make sure you take time to align things such as the microphone port holes as they are very small but of course essential to having the phone working as it should. I did have some difficulty in connecting a wire cable that plugs in above the loud speaker but going slowly and retrying it finally snapped in. I used two different online videos because they each leave out important parts but again going slowly and re-looking at the videos until I knew the steps to take worked very well. Customer support from OmniRepairs was outstanding. I had a minor issue with a screwdriver and Customer Support's Tom took care of me right away. My iPhone 6S is humming along and this product works just as it should.

Works great in iPhone 6S with YouTube Video for Installation
I just installed this kit in my daughters iPhone 6s this morning, and it's working great! The charging port part also includes new microphones, headphone port and some other parts, and you have to remove lots of stuff (screen, loud speaker, vibrator, etc.) to do the job, so there are lots of things to test after you're done; all good! It probably took me an hour or a little more, but that's mostly because I was going slow and being very careful. The tools in the kit and the charging port itself all worked great. I used the YouTube video by JerryRigEverything for "iPhone 6S Charging Port Repair Shown in 4 minute fix" and it made the job very doable. (No, you can't get it done in 4 minutes but the instructional video is about 4 minutes long). So, I'm very pleased.

High Quality Charge Port but a challenge to install
I only gave a 3 star rating for Easy to Install. Let me be clear. This is not a fault of the charging port. This is just the way it is. When you replace the port you will need eagle eyes (or a magnifying lens), very steady hands, patience, and a hand drawn map for screw placement. The map is very important because you will be removing about 15 to 20 screws of various sizes. The charge port comes with all of the tools you will need and they are of good quality. I spent about an hour removing the screen from the body and exchanging the dead port with the new one. At first I thought I made a mistake because my phone didn't seem to be charging. After an hour, still no charge. Then I realized the other end of the charging cable was not fully seated. What a relief.I do recommend that you watch one of the various YouTube videos on how to replace the charge port on the iphone 6s. The hardest part is removing the screen although installing the charge port wasn't much easier.

I used a youtube guide instead of the ifixit guide (which takes you through a lot of unnecessary work that puts you at much greater risk of failure) - took maybe 40 minutes, taking my time. Nothing was terribly difficult, part works just fine - I'm back to being able to put a cord in my phone and having it stay there... so I'm happy (original port was bad enough that if you breathed on the cord it'd disconnect).

Microphone sucked
I’m a pretty good DIYer, but found this to be a challenge. Got it done, but mic didn’t work well. Took it to a repair shop. They reinstalled for free. Still didn’t work well consistently. Went back and got the whole thing replaced for less than $50 at that shop in Lansdowne, VA, which took care of the problem. Didn’t give one star, since there is a chance I gummed up something during installation.

Exact fit with great tool kit.
Exact fit replacement for iPhone 6s and works perfectly so far (one week). The charging port on my original was not working anymore without strategic cord placement so I opted to repair it and replace the battery simultaneously. This part come with a very good tool kit also. Great drivers (pentalobe/Phillips) with magnetic tips, spudgie tool, metal case separator, etc... there are a lot of screws to remove in order to get this removed/installed. Note: make sure you watch multiple you-tube videos prior to attempting this repair. There is a difference between doing this on a 6 vs a 6s phone. The 6s has a hidden screw that must be located and removed. I found out the hard way and ended up breaking the antenna wire which I then had to replace as well! New port/audio jack/ mic works just like new.

One year review
I cannot say how pleased I am with my charge port. This port is sooo much better than one from another supplier, which needed returned because it was unusable. The port I purchased has performed very well over a years time and survived a battery fire in the phone (that sucked). Just a note, keep the port clean and you’ll have no problems. Customer service is very prompt and respectful, as they’ll answer an email quickly. Thx for the great parts and experience!

The replacement part works fine... a couple of problems with the tools, though
Used this kit 2 days ago to repair a phone that would no longer charge. The entire process took about an hour and a half, but I was probably much more careful than I needed to be. The phone is working great now.2 things that keep this kit from being 5 stars: First was the suction cup, which really struggled to stay sealed to the screen and appears to be less impressive than what you'd get with other kits. The screen removal took longer than it would have if the suction cup was stronger. The second issue with the tools was the phillips screwdriver, which couldn't remove any of the screws on the phone. If I didn't have a jeweler's screwdriver of my own, then I would have been left with an open phone and no way to complete the repair. I'm not the first person to report this, so be sure that you've got your own screwdriver if you're going to order this kit. In the end, I was able to work around these issues and I'm pleased with the results so far.
