Great wee machine.
Arrived promptly, easy to assemble, instructions for use quite straight forward though I found it useful to watch the YouTube video which makes it easy. Due to rain all week I couldn't use it till yesterday when the garden( and the shrubby branches) were dry. It did a great job and was easy to use even when some stuff got stuck in the feed, which I dislodged with tool provided, or another stick.. I did buy some safety goggles which only cost a couple of pounds, which are recommended to wear whilst using the shredder. I'd be interested to know how much it costs to run on electricity, but as I didn't use it for too long, hopefully it won't break the bank. You can disassemble it for long term storage but I'm just leaving it the way it is, it doesn't take up much space. I can recommend this shredder, easy for a first timer to use, produces great chips for garden mulch and is relatively inexpensive .

Great piece of kit
Very easy assembly, chips and ideal size for weed suppression and mulch. Reasonably quiet, works at a good speed and deals with fairly thick branches. Highly recommended. Good price.

Relentless muncher
Good points; it relentlessly munches through cuttings providing me with lots of mulch whilst at the same time saving me trips to the tip. The machine is at a good working height, no bending over. Bad points; the handle is very low which makes manouvering the shredder back breaking. Add to this the closeness of the wheels and it's also very unstable when manouvering. If the handle was higher I'd give it 5 stars.

Best buy of the summer for us.
Bought this in the summer, it’s saved us many trips to the tip as it condenses the hedge cutting right down. Great buy. Easy to assemble. Works great. We have a large garden surrounded by 10 foot privet and conifers.

Excellent value for money.
I’ve had a couple of shredders and chippers over the year. My advice is always to go for a shredder over a chipper, which frustratingly get jammed a lot as it relies on a spinning wheel. This shredder is gravity fed and simply munches on the vegetation, producing small cut pieces of wood. This looks to be based on the far more expensive Bosch, which retails for around £425. I’ve used one in the past and I think this compares favourably with the Bosch and is over £200 cheaper. The engineers and product designers have done a good job. The unit is super easy to assemble. The attached legs swing out, you insert the axle and screw the wheels. That’s it. You are good to go. One feature I really liked are simple ones that really helped. The collecting basket is opaque so you can easily see how much shredded material you have produced. There is also a grill opening that makes looking in easy. The shredder has forward and reverse functions as well as a reset button. You can vary the cut by the tightening/loosening wheel. To adjust my old model you needed to adjust by Allan key. This is easy in comparison. I thought the cut was excellent, producing neat, uniform, pieces which are perfect to put on your compost bin or scatter around the garden for it to decompose. Locally, we have to pay for our green bins so the shredder offers either the opportunity to msximise what you get in your bin, or something that greatly reduces composting time or for you to scatter in your garden. For the price it’s a bargain.

Really good shredder
I’m absolutely loving this wood chipper! I cut back a load of overgrown trees and branches up to about 4cm and it shredded them up easily, with the chips taking up a fraction of the space in my green bin. It’s reasonably quiet considering what it does - similar noise level to a lawnmower. I have a larger conifer hedge and it makes absolutely mincemeat of big conifer fronds. Would definitely recommend this product.

Does a great job.
I bought this to replace an ancient Al-Ko shredder which worked really well until suddenly it didn't :-( I was using this to dispose of about 25 metres of mature Privet hedge. The Hyundai shredder worked well from the get go, and cuts the stems into rough chunks which clearly will break down into a nice mulch. I have got through nearly half the hedge - some stems are just to old and too woody to shred and I've quickly learned to cut some of the twisty stems to they don't jam up s they feed in. The unit not very manoeuvrable although the wheels help, but there is no obvious place to hang the non-detachable cable in-spite of the nice cable hanger provided. This is why I only gave it 4-stars for usability.

Exceeded expectations
Solid piece of kit. Exceeded expectations. Worked well on all our garden’s seasonal pruning. Very pleased with the results. Great value compared to the competition.

Seems like good quality and durable. I used it only 4 times so far but it works very nicely. My only observation/wish is that it would nice to have a weirder funneled opening for the feeder so as to more easily feed smaller rigs and leaves.
