This is definitely a nifty and interesting novelty, and it does get the job done of drawing circles. However, a couple of things:1. A standard run of the mill compass does the job too with a lot more ease and convenience. There's a reason why compasses haven't gone obsolete.2. The aperture does not close completely, leaving a minimum 1cm hole. That means you cannot draw circles smaller than 1cm in diameter.3. Do note that given the design of this device where the aperture is made of overlapping metal plates, the points where one metal plate intersects with the other result in the circle you draw having little pointy edges to them. It's not super notice-able and the circles are generally decent looking circles, but if you are nitpicky about this sort of thing, you will definitely notice.Overall, I am happy with this product as a novelty, but it's not a serious drawing/drafting tool by any stretch.

I like this tool for my wood working shop. My only complaint is that it is metric (mm) and not inches, so it is smaller than I expected.It does work smoothly and it is easy

I love the design. I'm sure I'll find uses for it, but circles of all sizes have corners. I wanted smooth circles obviously. It is so high off of the surface the diameter of the writing utensil augments the size of the circle. Precision will take time to achieve.

The product itself is durable, but the reason I took one star is due to the sharpness of the blades. I needed to adjust the size of the circle and Tried to push it from the center and got a paper like cut in my finger. Have to use the back screws and use a bit of force for the adjustment.

This thing is awesome! It would be even better if there were some bumps on the face or if it was somehow a little more grippy but I'm sure you could just use hot glue or maybe some grip tape so its easier to twist. Aside from that though it is very cool. Doesn't make perfectly round circles though, almost but not quite.

This definitely does give you a great option to draw different sized circles precisely without a compass. However, I found the opening and closing mechanism a little stiff and oddly difficult to use. It also does not sit perfectly flat against the surface so there is a bit of a lip under it always. Would I get it again? Yes. Do I wish the design was improved? Also yes.

I love this item! I was never good at making Circles. This is excellent!

I was so excited to get this! And I got to use it for a day before it was broken by someone fiddling with it. The "lens" doesn't fully retract into the black casing, and the fiddler pushed it all the way in, which deformed the circle and made the whole thing useless.Before that though, it was hard to adjust. Love the concept, but not this particular one.

Vraiment difficile a utiliser. Le tracé des cercles n'est pas lisse. Et je ne vois pas du tout l'utilité des chiffres inscrits sur la roulette, ils ne correspondent à rien, du moins ce n'est vraiment pas une évidence.
