These Ticonderoga pencils are the only ones my kids will use, and after seeing the difference, I understand why. They sharpen smoothly without breaking, the graphite writes cleanly and consistently, and the wooden barrel feels sturdy but comfortable for small hands. The erasers actually work—no smearing or tearing the paper—which is a big deal for schoolwork. They also hold up far better than cheaper pencils, which tend to splinter or break inside the sharpener.
