Good value
Purchased from Amazon as "used" although I did not realize that was my selection. The packaging was frightening; I was tempted to return it even before opening since I could hear stuff rattling inside, but after opening, I was fine except that no paperwork at all accompanied the mower. The unit even with battery is fairly light weight, quiet, and seems to be battery efficient. One downside is that where my gas mower would pick up all leaves and small twigs/branches, this mower does not have the vacuuming power to do so.

Green Monster
I love the whole Greenworks line. I have the lawnmower, the weed eater, and the chainsaw. I love that the battery works with all of them. This is actually my second lawnmower that I purchased from them. I upgraded to a bigger one. It works great! I can mow my whole lawn with one battery. Easy to assemble as well. No complaints about this purchase.

Great first electric LM!
I bought the 19" steel deck mower (2501302). It's really quiet, compared to gas. Sounds like a box fan. Quiet enough for me to listen to music while I cut without making my ears bleed. The motor is strong enough to power thru tough weeds. It is slightly annoying the way it automatically adjusts to the load so that it conserves power without sacrificing much in terms of cutting performance. I get it, although I wish the automatic setting also came with the option to control throttle manually. It's only a small complaint because though I feel like I need to pace myself more to compensate for the mower's own automatic speed adjustments, I haven't noticed much sloppy cuting. A slow and steady pace may work best at all times. The power consumption is pretty high, I think. I use non OEM 6,000mAh (supposedly) batteries, and it has burned thru one of those in less than an hour. Comparatively, using the same batteries with the 20" hedge trimmers that come in the PSPH40B00 bundle, I can cut continuously for 45mins and use a little more than a quarter of the battery. I've also used the same batteries to power my 13inch string trimmer (21332) for over 1.5hrs (almost non-stop) with a quarter or more of charge left. Apples and oranges, to be sure, but it's certainly notable that it does consume a considerable amount of energy. Those batteries I have take about 1.5hrs each to charge in my C-400 quick chargers, so if you need to cut for extended periods of time, just have enough batteries to rotate through a continuous charge/discharge cycle.I love the simplicity! Looking at the exploded view, the only critical part is the actual motor itself. The rest is just body covers and fasteners. It's great because it means very little maintenance. The only caveat is that if something does go critically wrong, there's a high chance that you'll need a new machine. At this pricepoint, though (got mine for $170), buying a new one would be cheaper than most conventional gas lawnmowers of the same class. The bag is a little smaller than I'm used to, but I feel like it's a little longer. It is easier for me to dump the clippings from the discharge bag into another bag because the mouth of the discharge bag is small enough to fit into another bag. It probably holds about 1/4 less than the bag for my 21" gas mower does. Lastly, it's a bit heavier than I expected. It's still quite a bit lighter than my gas mowers, though. It's certainly not recommended to use on slopes greater than 15°, but it's pretty versatile in nonconventional applications because it can still work well when (CAREFULLY) operated at an angle, unlike gasoline mowers. In my opinion, you can't beat it, for the price! Just be sure to make it part of a set so you can get the most for your money. I'm just getting around to using it, so I plan to update this review if the need arises.

Love Greenworks Tools and I have many of them!
I have many Greenworks Tools all riuning on 40v batteries so when my 8 year old mower died, I wanted just a mower so I could utilize my other tools and the 3 batteries I have. Of course, found it on Amazon. This new mower is more than expected. Sturdy, powerful, batteries last much longer, pricing was great, quick delivery not more to say. Extremely satisfied with the purchase and highly recommend this product brand.

Not as good as my ICE but not expecting it to be....
I've finally been able to use it through the whole season so can report on the product. I am slowly trying to replace all my ICE tools to electric and have settled on the Greenworks line. This replaced a generic 21" mower with a B&S engine.I chose the metal deck as I haven't had problems with them rusting and I wasn't sure the plastic would be durable. I was concerned about it weighing too much but just the opposite; it is quite lightweight in comparison to the ICE unit to the point where I think it borders on dangerous. I would be worried about the much lighter units. It is hard to explain, but something with a spinning metal blade shouldn't be too easy to whip around. I know, sounds odd.Assembly instructions were not great. Couldn't figure out correct way to install handle and the control cord seems to get caught when I attach the bag. Not sure if I missed something or that's just the way it is.My biggest complaint is that it automatically increases rotational speed when it senses a heavy load. The manufacturer has taken a paternalistic approach to this and as far as I can tell, the user has no control over this feature. If I am going in and out of heavy or wet grass, it would be better if it just stayed in the high-load mode, but instead it just keeps ramping up and down which frequently requires going over patches twice. I realize that will use the battery more quickly but that should be my choice, not theirs.I really like the deck height adjustment. One lever changes all four wheels. I mowed most of the summer at 5 or 6 setting. Used 3 at the end of the season.I have a 1/3 acre yard but when you take out the pool and garden, it is quite small. I was always able to mow the whole lawn with one charge under all conditions except when I did my "end of the year close shave" which took two charges. It throws dry grass of just about any length to the back of the bag. Wet grass, when long, typically would only get half way to the back necessitating emptying more frequently.Overall I would get this unit again however I really wish there was a way to control the higher speed mode manually.
