Godinger Dublin Ice Bucket, Clear

This ice bucket is just the right size for my needs. It is really a bargain - fantastic quality and reasonable price. It is truly beautiful. It is quite heavy, which is what I would expect from such a crystal piece. Honestly, I was looking for an insulated bucket with a lid. However, all the ones I saw cost more than I wanted to spend since I so seldom use an ice bucket. Even though I have wanted an ice bucket for years, I have never before purchased one because I didn't want to have to sacrifice storage space. This crystal ice bucket, though, is one that can be displayed while not in use, without taking up cupboard space to hide it away. Granted, this bucket is not insulated and does not have a lid, but I don't plan to leave ice out for hours. I think the thickness of the crystal will provide enough insulation for my needs. This piece is quite elegant looking, and I look forward to using it.

It has the look and feel of classic lead crystal, though not as weighty. Perfect for actual use and not merely to sit on a bar shelf because it's far too expensive to use. Definitely a thumbs-up.

I ordered this for my wedding. And I was not disappointed. It is thick and heavy. It looks very expensive. There is also a champagne glasses that we ordered that matches and it makes the perfect set. I think I will have this for a long time.
