The Kaito Voyager is the perfect radio for emergencies and disasters. It comes with a High quality AC type brushless generator and the solar panel powers the radio by itself and charges the built-in batteries as well. Funky! Lots of toys but no Champion.
Funky 'toy' but not as robust as its 'macho' paint job would imply.....Some lovely touches, the USB socket and variety of charging options are a boon. The reception is a bit 'average' and the 'weather thingy' is only useful if you're in the USA, which most of us aren't. The lights are wonderful!!It 'could' be great if it was better made. It has taken a very mild beating (tickling really) and failed the knock about nature of outdoor living.

For around 50 euros is a good deal, you get what it says on the box,but in Spain (Europe) i cant get the weather stations to work and its not as sturdy as it looks.Overall a good buy.

Perfect for an emergency kit
The radio is perfect for my emergency kit. It met the specifications, is compact but not too small. Loved the various methods for charging it. I did order the plug in adaptor to ensure I had all charging options available. Hoping I never have to use it in an emergency but feels good to be prepared.
