We increased Jessie & Katie's pills later when they were 12, then, again at 13 to twice daily with first 2 pills at a time 2 times a day, then, 2.5 pills at a time 2x a day and their last year to 3 pills at a time 2x a day. They had no problems due to the pills and they liked them like candy. : )I am not saying to try what we did with the pills. Follow the directions but the dogs were healthy & happy again to age 14 & over age 14! These are bigger dogs weighing approximately 65-73 pounds. Smaller dogs have different doses.Myristin works for people, too. Buy the people pills for people, animal pills for an animal. I know of some people who swear by it for them, too. It can help any animal big or small. I eventually met the kind gentleman who patented these for animals. He LOVED the animals! His goal was to help the animals whether horses, cats, elephants, whatever. This says something great! Don't give up and go for it! : ) I am so grateful and thankful that my sister said, "Wait! Don't put your dogs down until after you try Myristin!" She drove an hour to deliver the pills to us! I had never heard of Myristin. We are so pleased we listened to her! MYRISTIN is # ONE in our book!

Solid tablets. Work well for my older dog. I grind them to a powder for easier digestion mixed in his food.

Update. Most recent shipment is back to pinkish color. The formulation of this product seems appropriate and provides omega 5 benefits, which I think can make a big difference for some dogs. I crush the tablets and add to his food.I just received my fourth shipment. The formulation changes somewhat each time. The tablets in the previous (third) order were a distinctive orange-pink color, and the dog did not like these. The most recent order is very white in color, and the dog more willingly eats these. Backing up to the first and second orders, these were hard tablets (not particularly a problem), and the dog did not especially like these--but generally would eat them. Otherwise I would crush the tablets and put them in his food.

I’ve used joint products before and usually have no problems. They hated this stuff!

I've been buying this product for quite some time and it always comes in a dark green container with firm yellow tablets. This time it came in a white container with chalky yellow, thinner tablets. On occasion, I'd have to buy the smaller quantities because it was sold out and it would also come in a white container with chalky yellow tablets. They just seem "cheap" compared to the tablets that come in the green container. I am going to call the manufacturer and see why this is happening.

I have been giving my dogs Myristin for years and they have had no problems with there joints.

Unfortunately, I can't give a review on this product as I lost my dog, an almost 11 year old English Mastiff shortly after I received the product and before I had a chance to see any benefits..

I am still on the fence with this one. I have used half of the bottle (1 month's worth) and have not see a lot of improvement in my dogs condition (joint and hip issues). This is a loading product I still have 1 more month to go before seeing any real improvement. Hopefully I will. My dog loves this product she thinks it is a treat.
