Are dove products made in the USA?

That is a great question! Unless otherwise stated specifically on the label, all of our products sold in the U.S. are manufactured in the United States. The statement found on some of our packaging "Product of (Country)" is not a statement of where the raw material is from, but rather a statement of where the product is processed. All of the ingredients used in our products are required to meet legal US standards for safety. We hope this helps.

Does this shampoo build up on hair?

It lathers well later, when you washes with it. You do not require alot of it. A generous round size in the palm be plenty for mid-length or shoulder length hairs. mine are such lengths. It pours thickly so, no need to have alot. It just seems theres no or not enough shampoo. Also, its PETA cruelty-free, with bottles recyclable, and from recycled plastics too

Do these bottles that come from here have the word "salicylate" in the ingredients??? the new ones do and i can't have it.

Dove Nutritive solutions moisturizing shampoo - excellent shampoo. Gentle on the scalp, cleans hair perfectly and rinses thoroughly, has only just a slight, subtle fragrance. I rarely need to use the Dove conditioner but it is as good as the shampoo. Very happy to find a four pack at Amazon. I highly recommend.
