Worked great. Simple but smart, and effective if you know basic woodworking. The hole boring part worked great through solid wood. The only part that's lacking, which I don't think any of these kits have, is a way to make an indent on the edge of the door for the rectangular piece around the latch. But you could install a round-hole method if you have a new door handle that comes with the options, or you can do some chiseling. I had a plunge router that helped.

Purchased the 3 Ryobi jigs for hanging a door and adding a lock. Perfect every time! Don't do often but made the finish perfect and they were easy to use.

Great tool for DIY projects, for a pro i would reccommend getting a better set. Easy to use but still requires some know how, just make sure you use the correct holes when marking your door.

didn't get the backset distance correct. I had to widen the hole to get the deadbolt to fit correctly. Didn't set the hole for the strike plate either. Not very functional.

The locking screw on the hole saw broke as soon as I started using it. I even checked it before I started. So midway though my project I had to go to a home improvement store and spend $50 on a new one. Everything else works good... if you want to end up spending $70 lol

I have installed several door knobs in brand-new doors. I thought this would help with alignment. It did not. A much cheaper item I purchased at a local retailer worked far better. I wouldn't buy this.

Arrived quickly and did the job perfectly.
