I love this lighter. great buy.

I use mine for lighting my wood-burning stove. It works very well on small bits of kindling or paper-birch bark. It's no good for anything bigger than a matchstick.It charges very quickly.It looks great and I love the technology.Would be good for lighting candles/incense, probably OK for cigarettes but I suspect a normal lighter or one of those very powerful butane lighters would be better.Suits my needs perfectly. I don't like having to close the lid before every press, that's crap design. But all in, I love it.

I’m very pleasantly surprised because I thought the quality would be rubbish, the battery life would be rubbish, it’d break in a month or two and so on.However, I couldn’t be further from the truth. I have had the lighter around 6 months now. The battery lasts about 3-5 days which is perfect for me. The quality is brilliant, it’s been dropped on concrete many a time, and it truly is windproof. I took it for granted until I left it at home and had to use my friend’s lighter and forgot I had to shield it from the wind and stood like an idiot trying to light it.Overall, 10/10 would recommend, great lighter, great value for money.

Works as expected. The position of the "spark part" would be better in a vertical position. Need to clean with brush every so often. Mine actually dropped in the (clean) toilet, cleaned it and let it dry for a few days and it still works. I think battery life may have been affected.

Used every day at work and home for nearly two months now.Dropped often, and used in outdoor environment and is still working perfectly even in wet and windy conditions.Family member has had one for 5 months and is still working perfectly.

The lighter is solid and works well but... because the arc protrudes it's very easy to give yourself a shock. Because it's a touch to start and it goes for 15 secs if you don't close the lid it's easy to catch the lid trying to take it from your pocket and then start it. Definitely don't leave it unattended in a house with kids! It is a good lighter though, battery lasts me about 3 days.

Battery life isn't as good as expected, lasted 1.5 days with moderate use (approx. 20 ignitions a day but not always for 10 secs). The arcs aren't great for roll-ups but it does work, cigarettes work better. Burning other materials is a struggle compared to a conventional lighter but that's not what I use it for.I returned mine as the touch button was located in a position where I kept accidentally triggering it most times I opened the lid. I am going to get one with a physical button instead.
