I just received and used my GFI flat iron. This is the 10th flat iron I’ve owned in as many years, since I’ve been pressing my naturally curly hair. So I have experience with flat irons in general. I have 26 inch length wavy sometimes curly hair too. So I speak from experience.First Impression: I love the way it feels in my hands. I can hold the tip of the tool in one hand as I maneuver it in my other hand because the top is ergonomically designed - the tip is extended and cool to the touch, while the device plates holds temperature very well so far.Best Features: 1” size and manual temperature setting plus the feel of the wand in my hands. I can press my little baby hair around my temple for that cute fly away look and the hair and my fingers are protected. I just love the feel of this flat iron.Note: I have not travelled with this yet. But I also like the felt heat case that comes with it - will be handy in my luggage. I also have not used it for a “big hair” day. I own multiple tools for different hair styles. We’ll see how this one handles the “big hair days” and dual voltage when I travel outside of the US. I’ll update this review then. I expect I will continue to love it based on how it’s designed (which won’t change) and my first impressions! Also, I purchased the extended warranty from Amazon for $2.99, so ai have no worries about a malfunction. 😁

My old straightener finally died and I was forced to search for a new one. This GFI was the third one to try and it’s a keeper. After the first two, which were more expensive, I really liked this one! First, the price is great! I like that the tips don’t get hot so it much easier to handle. Also, the digital readout, fast heating up and the position of the controls. I only heat it up to 350 degrees and with just one pass my hair is smooth and sleek and lasts the whole day.

I had never owned a titanium straightener until I purchased this one and I have to stay it was amazing!!! This straightener left my thick coarse hair super straight and shiny. I really loved the outcome. You are able to control the temp with two buttons and it heats up pretty fast. What makes this straightener the most convenient is the large cord that goes in the outlet. It also comes with a glove and a pad where you can set it so it doesn't sit on a surface that can get damaged. Overall, I am very very pleased with my purchase.

I was so excited to try out this straightener once it got delivered but I knew usually having expectations meant there was a good chance I can be let down. Instead of being let down I was actually quite impressed with a straightener that only cost me $40. The first thing I was super impressed with was how the shape of the straightener makes it super functional. It doesn’t tug on your hair during a pass through and when you want to use it as a curler it actually holds your hair in between so you can flip easily! Second thing I was impressed about was how quickly it took to heat up. That’s always a plus! Lastly, the straightener is durable but lightweight as well! I’m so happy with this purchase :)

Okay lemme tell you about this straighter- It’s amazing! Very quick to heat up, literally five seconds and it’s good to go. Even the design of this straightener is so thought out. It can be used to curl hair also, so you’re getting a 2 in 1 product for the already great price. I have yet to use it to curl my hair but I know I’ll be using this product even more because of its ability to do both. It has a temperature setting, telling you what temperature it’s on, and buttons to manually adjust the temp. I also love that the on/off button is INSIDE the straighter, so you can’t accidentally hit the off button while using the product! So smart!! This has always been a design flaw with other products like this. They also send you a heat protectant glove in the box, that comes with the product! How thoughtful is that?!

I have thick, coarse, and frizzy hair. My last hair cut appointment, my new hairstylist commented “thickest hair I’ve ever seen”.So goes to say it is not easy for upkeep and maintain my hair. I rarely use a flat iron anymore bc it takes too long and my hair looks fried. But not with this one! Here are some of my points that I find were important to note!*normally takes my hair 30 minutes or more to straighten. In the pictures hair was in less then 15 mins! I was in a hurry and wasn’t as detailed as I normally am. Overall it took less effort and faster turn time in straightening my hair.**temp control has a wide range! So it’s really great for all types of hair.***the front of the iron has a curved 1inch space, after the heat plates end. THAT is awesome! For me, I like to hold it from the front and back of the iron and since that little space doesn’t have the heat plates, it is easier to hold bc it’s not hot. I’m sure that this will help with the curling process as well and I can’t wait to try it!****the iron shape is super sleek!

I bought this after the straightener I had for over 10 years broke and was no longer being made so I had to find a new straightener. I have very thick coarse tightly curled hair and I have always used a straightener with very high heat settings. After reading reviews on Amazon and the internet, I decided to go with this one based on the great reviews it received and the purchase price, which is a steal for a professional product. I received it yesterday, and used it after washing and drying me hair. I use it heat protection product so after applying it I plugged in the straightener. It was heated to temp (450) in about 5 seconds as advertised. It took a couple of passes on each section of my hair to get it straight with no waves but that’s typical for my type of hair. But my hair passed through the plates smoothly with no snags and the straightener comes with a glove that protected my hand from the high heat as I was working with it. It took about the same time it usually does to completely straighten my hair ( 35-40 minutes) and looked amazing when I was done. This one works even better that the old one I had. My hair is straight, smooth and has a nice shine to it. I highly recommend this straightener to anyone with thick curly frizzy hair like mine.

I’ve had many flat irons in my life and nothing comes close to the quality of this. Heats up almost instantly. Reduces frizz compared to other flat irons and glides smoothly, including ghd. I was hesitantly decided to try out something more budget friendly, and I was pleasantly surprised by this baby. I love the longer plates, how quickly it heats up, and how smooth it makes my hair feel and more importantly it doesn't snatched my hair. I’ve been using it for about three months now and I'm very happy with this purchase.

This flat iron heats quickly- controls show actual temperature rather than just low/ med / high like some units. Great to straighten coarse, curly hair. Designed for safety with auto shut off and cool tip design. Nice bonus to get glove and pouch.

So far I am totally impressed with this straightener. It is easy to make beach waves with and keeps hair smooth, It heats up sooo quickly, I can't believe it! Makes my last straightener seem so lame!

I’ve been using this hair straightener for 2 years now and it’s still working great (purchased in 2022, reviewing in 2024). It glides smoothly, does not damage or fry my hair and the plates have held up well over time. It also heats up fast and the cord doesn’t tangle. I imagine I’ll continue to use it for years to come!
