Swimschool Swim Trainer Vest with Sun Protective Sleeves, Adjustable Safety Strap, Medium/Large, up to 50 Lbs., Pink

I have a very active 18 month old who loves to swim. We tried a puddle jumper but she's small and they were just too big to be comfortable on her. She weighs about 24 lbs I think and she is 60th percentile for height we ordered the small and I like the fit big enough that she won't immediately out grow it. It floats her and stays on well. We also discovered that if you do the leg strap it makes it difficult to slip out of even if they figure out how to unzip it. I like that it doesn't have the top flap on the life jacket. Not sure if that makes it less safe if you're expecting it to be a lifesaving device. It seems to really float her and keep her face out of the water.

This was not a good fit for my 1.5 year old who is average height and weight. It would rise up and hurt her private area. The little wanna be pad thing that came included was not sufficient at all when the force of water is pulling the vest. It was literally 2 pieces of the same vest fabric. Plus it would ALWAYS slip off when not in use. The vest would also tip her forward and thus made her scared. I just gave up and bought the normal vest for weight 30-50 even tho she is only 23 lbs and it works so well. It also keeps her floating normally vertical. I should've tried it sooner than going through all the hassle of trying diff infant weight appropriate vests which alllll made her tip forward or backwards. At that age.. they don't want to lay down in the pool.. they want to be upright.

The product seems good but I'm not happy that the description says small for 20-33 lbs and recommended for 4months + but when I received the package says recommended for 2-4 years. I purchased this for my almost 1 yr old. So I don't feel comfortable using it until he's older. Needs better representation.

I gave this product 3 stars. I bought this for my son who isn't yet 1 but I went based off the pounds he is 20 pounds so I bought the 20-30 pound one. I tried it on him and it fit ok everywhere except when he sits it rides up on him which makes it cover his mouth a little. I would have to say that it's too big for him but I plan on keeping this for when he gets a little bigger. This product is well made and is great but I just think 20 pounds is too small for this swim vest . Also when I opened my package the vest had a tag for it saying 2 years and up and that it's not suitable for kids under the age of 2 . But I figured if he was in the right weight range it wouldn't matter. I still am not sure about using it obviously I wouldn't let go of my little guy in the water while hes wearing it. I'm just nervous about putting him in it. But I also couldnt find any other swim vests for his weight range. Over all this product is great but just not for 20 pound 10 month olds.

We bought this swim vest after my son was complaining about the puddle jumpers hurting his arms. He's 3 years old and loves to swim. He's still learning and we wanted a product that helped him learn to swim on his own vs just keeping him afloat. We went on vacation to Mexico and this was light and easy to pack. It was perfect!It was so comfortable for him that he wore it on the beach, at the pool and barely asked to take it off. It gave him the confidence to learn to sim better by using his arms and legs, instead of just floating. I wish I would have bought one for my daughter too but will probably do so next season.It also protected him from the sun. We noticed tan lines from it and he didn't have to wear a swim shirt underneath. It also dries fairly quickly.

We love this! I wouldn't use it as a life jacket on a big boat, but my toddler wore it to a water park and it was perfect! It allowed me to relax so he could play hard! It fit nicely and didn't climb to high around his neck and ears. The strap under his legs didn't seem to bother him. We plan to use it much more when the weather gets warmer!

This worked so well for us this summer! Perfect!! From pools to lakes out camping this made me much more comfortable and my daughter too.

After my 5 year old's old life vest rubbed her underarms and left painful red marks, I decided to try this vest. She loved it. No painful arm marks, and the leg strap was perfect for keeping the vest from riding up while she was in the water.

Le quedó pequeño a mi hija, aunque coincide con el peso que manejan en la descripción. Le rozo su cuello muy fuerte y ya no lo pudo utilizar.
