GE WB27K10355 Oven Control Board

Had F4 error code on my GE gas range after a power surge. Googled it and tried replacing the cheapest part first: temperature sensor for $30 but that didn't work. Next stop: control board for $64. Total cost to repair oven $94. Appliance repair guy wanted $49 for service call plus $388 to install both sensor and control board. Replacement was easy. Just write down which color wire goes on which connection (T100-T104) and connect them to the same thing on the new board. 12 screws total.

This Oven Control Board easily replaced my OEM. You have to be careful, does not include the face-plate of the control board. I needed to remove it from my old unit and install it on the new. It went easy enough but it is east to ruin the face plate during this process. The oven control board works well but it did not solve my problem (inconstant oven temperature and lighting). Problem was ultimately found to be the oven igniter. I suggest you change that first!

Repairmen wanted $300 for part and labor. Don’t do that. Super easy install, just match the wires connected from the old part. Only thing is you have to transfer the sticker from the old part onto this one.

My family has a rather old oven (model JGB28) whose motherboard went slightly wonky, and we could not find a replacement that was a certain fit. We used Amazon's model search to determine that this model was correct. The install was quite easy (look up videos on YouTube), and the part worked perfectly. Note that this is a genuine GE replacement part.

Got this after lightening hit the panel on our stove. Easy for my husband to install and works great!

The control board connects easily. The only slightly tricky part is removing the plastic faceplate from the old control board. Fortunately the unit, being 25 years old, the glue was brittle and I was able to pry it off carefully, and it pressed on the new one easily.
