Awesome!!!
I really loved this pedal, it is awesome. I was not expecting this quality at all even for chord or classic mode. I have tried the EHX Pitch Fork and I didn't like it because of the sound quality and the sensation that your note/chord plays a little bit delay. There is no lag here, immediate response. Also on classic mode the quality of the bends/dive bombs are impressive. Way better than the bends on Boss PS6 I have. I'm really satisfied with this pedal.

This is a great pedal. I just need it to simulate a 12 string, and it does.
I use this to simulate a 12 string and it sounds great.

My Favorite pedal of 2018
I LOVE this pedal. I have a pretty impressive board but this pedal gets LOTS of use. It's a great pedal, as a whammy substitute or an octave pedal. It does both things amazingly well. Digitech SCORED big-time with this one. DO NOT HESITATE get this pedal. You'll thank me. Yes....yes you will.

Good as a whammy, Not enough as an octaver.
I purchased this as an octave shifter. The upper range of the electric guitar is high E6 sound even if it is a 24fret guitar. When I play the Spring part in Four Season, the principle violin part exceeds E6 sound, so I needed an octave pedal. This has less tracking latency, but makes the guitar tone such a terrible thing. It is a nice whammy pedal but not enough as an octaver. I experienced another pitch shift pedal, sound was terrible, too.

Great pedal
Totally loving this pedal. Way fun, small, quiet, and very transparent until you need it to do something crazy. Only complaint is that for 150 bones, it should come with the required 300mA power supply, because 100mW is not enough juice to fire this puppy up.

Good pedal. Well made. Fun to own as long it doesn’t become a go to pedals.

Great Digitech pedal that is nice and compact compares to the previous whammys. Best feature is the ability to change the speed at which it changes pitchy (both up and down). Also, it has chord and classic mode.

Awesome bit of kit! Disputed buying for a year shouldn’t of at all! Must have!!
Its a mini whammy in a nutshell. Packaged well, beautiful design and will in turn add a magnitude of arsenal too your playing. Whether looking for intermitant slow bends or screaming divebombs going flat out soloing it has your back all the time. You Can go up or down, numerous octave settings and also you can adjust the rise and fall of each mode. Epic creativity awaits. Check out the videos on youtube and see for yourself. An instrument on its own.Few second notes - are skeptical of the button (me initially) and i can see why. The whammy is iconic however having played both no difference. i think having used this now for a week its awesome and feels built too last. Will be a permenant fixture on my board. There is a lot of give for the money also being £40 less then the original whammy. Besides the whammy is huge, attracts dust more and this works so so easy. Also you are in turn going too put more pressure on a pedal then a button in my eyes; this in turn questioning which would survive the end of time. for fans also you can also convert this pedal into the original whammy mode.BE WARNED! This will require a 300ma 9volt cable (most small Boss pedals are 100ma speaking as a novice) there are a lot of reviews that suggest unwanted hum and interference. This will play a part if not the adaptor, i tried running off a 250ma and it provides significanct humming. Saw other reviews wasn’t sure if the problem at hand? BUY ONE BUY ONE BUY ONE!

DigiTech do it again
Can you live without the treadle, and size of the original Whammy? I can for sure.First of all, it set in a smaller all metal enclosure. Everything, including the knobs feel re-assuringly well made, and suggests a good level of longevity for this pedal.Changes to the sounds are made by a combination of knobs, and dual concentric knobs. The Footswitch allows for momentary, and latching capabilities. The LED ladder on the left of the pedal is on constantly, which I found a little distracting to start with.As to the sound of the pedal? When used sparingly as an 'effect' it is wonderful, I found no perceivable latency in Whammy mode. All things considered, a great buy, and though its not a pedal I would say is a must have pedal, it is fun and great to use!
