Boldon Framing - Oak, Square Thin Photo Frame in Solid Wood with White Wall Mount, 40x40cm- Pic Size 30x30cm Picture Display

I bought this frame to display a beautiful painting that was made of my dog last Christmas :’)The painting itself was 6 inches x 6 inches and the paper was 8 inches x 8 inches meaning the bevel (I think that’s what its called, the white border anyway) included with the frame perfectly framed around the image without any need for alterations :)The wood feels solid and high quality, though my only complaint is there was a corner where the wood joins where the black paint quite didn’t reach down into so there is a small little spot of wood exposed but unless I were to point it out, no one would ever notice it and I can always paint it myself if it bothered me that much (try to spot it in the photo included, I’m sure not many will even see it!)It comes with a metal wall mount you have to pop out yourself to hang up. There is no pull out arm if you intend on having this frame stand on a table though, it’s wall mounted only. Though, you could stand it upright by itself but you would have to be very careful not to knock it over haha :)This frame uses a thick plastic cover (not glass) which is perfect for me as I don’t want to risk this frame falling over and getting glass everywhere where it could hurt someone. :)PLUS, even though it is plastic, it is crystal clear and shiny so unless you were to tap on it, you would never know it was plastic ❤️I love the quality, the durability, the pet-friendly plastic cover and will definitely bookmark this seller for future frames!

Like that it's plastic and not glass, just hope it wont scratch.I wanted to spray paint the mount to match the picture and it was easy to do. Dried easily without runs or drips.The black glass frame really looks good.

This frame is nice looking, good quality and has a nice black wood finish for the edges of the frame. The border around the outside is thick card which you would expect from a product with this price tag. I think it is quite expensive for one small frame but is good quality and does the job wellOverall, I would say you could probably find one cheeper and similar quality but if you don't mind the extra couple of pounds then id go for it.

For just over £20 you can’t go wrong. Very fast delivery as well.

I bought this to frame a piece of patchwork I had made for a friend to give to a family member for Christmas. She wanted grey and it had to be square and this was far and away the best quality out of the square ones I have bought in the past. It does not have glass in the front but the acrylic is such good quality that you would never know unless you tapped it. It is very lightweight but not at all cheap looking. My friend was delighted with it.

I didn’t read the description carefully enough. Frame is nice but not glass which I was expecting for the price. Need to read the details better in future.

I had a job finding the correct size square frame for a print. This one is well made ,Comes with an optional border and was so reasonably priced. Perfect 👍

Nice colour. Size is good. Mitre joints not exactly level, but on the wall you don't really notice. Easy to put up, though could do with a better quality hanging hook fitted.
