Great value, functional, and a much better way to work!
I did a lot of research looking into a standing desk before purchasing this one. Working from home more than ever now, I never really had a home office set up. I was using a living room table and one of our dining room chairs. For a short time this was okay, for the long term my body was not having it. I went back and fourth as to whether or not I wanted an electric or a crank standing desk. To be honest I couldn't find many good crank standing desks. Most of them are roughly the same price as the electric ones. This was the one where it still looked good and was enough of a price difference to consider it. While I have nothing against electric ones, I figured I would be using the desk mostly in standing so I didn't really need the electric features and I wouldn't have to worry as much about something breaking. So far I have been correct on my usage as I have used it almost exclusively standing. Below are some initial observations.* Installation was pretty easy- I was a little nervous not being a handy man, but also because the repeated reviews and warnings in the manual to not fully the tighten the screws. It took me a little over an hour, but everything made sense and it was a pretty normal assembly. Everything arrived in good shape too.* Height is great- I am 5'9 and I have the desk all the way up. I look down a little bit, but I personally love the height.* Sturdy and Good Width- This desk is very sturdy and holds me resting my arms on it with no problem. It is the perfect size for me to have my personal computer, iPad, and work computer all on it. I could see some maybe wanting a little bigger size, but for me and the space we are currently in, it works very well.I have only had this standing desk for a little over a week, but I knew it was what I wanted and so far has lived up to my expectations. I don't even want to sit because my back feels so much better standing! This desk at $200 was a great price and meets all of what I expected in a crank standing desk. It is basic, but more than functional and I would highly recommend it!

Good Value for the Money
Exactly as expected. Not the easiest to assemble and I did need another person for a couple of steps, but I've assembled a lot of furniture and didn't find it to be terribly difficult, just took a little trial and error before I fully understood how it all went together. I think I had it assembled in about an hour. Definitely do not tighten screws all the way down until the frame is fully assembled; this is SUPER important. I read that in other reviews and in the instructions, so I tightened minimally until the end which worked well for getting things to easily line up with minimal effort. That said, there was one hole in the frame that did not line up at all no matter how much I wiggled things around; it was drilled incorrectly. To fix, I could have just drilled a new hole, but it was an area where there were a few screws serving the same purpose so I found that leaving out the one did not affect the overall stability of the desk and decided to just leave it out rather than go through the trouble.I feel it's important to keep in mind that furniture at this price point will often be manufactured with something a bit "off" and you may have to come up with a fix yourself or exchange it depending on the issue. This has often been my experience, so I'm not knocking off a star for the one badly drilled hole since everything else about this desk is great and I never have high expectations for cheap furniture.All-in-all it's a good value for the $$. It is very easy to crank up and down, takes me less than 30 seconds. I like that the crank is easily removable. The wooden top and metal legs look sleek and nice, better quality materials than what I expected at this price point. It's sturdy, barely moves at all if I intentionally try to shake it. I highly recommend if you need a standing desk. If there are any mechanical failings I will update my review accordingly. I intentionally chose a manual crank to hopefully avoid such issues, so we'll see.*Sliding keyboard tray purchased separately, not included with the desk.
