Easy to Apply and Works Very Well!
Areas in my front and back lawn were compacted and bermuda grass struggled, due to large trees pulling the moisture and nutrients from the soil around the tree line. I tried manual aerating and slow watering, but the lawn would dry up with our 90+ days. I applied this product using the hose end sprayer, at 5oz for 500sq ft, on a Sunday evening, and watered it in well with the irrigation system. To my surprize, Monday/Tuesday's 100 degree heat did not dramatically dry out the soil and thin out the grass in the trouble aress, and the rest of the lawn became thinker, dark green and healthy. Areas in the back that had no noticable grass now has shoots growing. It's Wednesday, and the lawn continued to improve, the trouble areas along with the rest of the lawn. With our drought and only 2 days of watering, I use the soaking method to help allow moisture to reach the deeper grass roots. I cut at the highest setting for the mower for less sun hitting the soil. The grass is growing faster, and now cutting 2x weekly to help the lawn thicken up. I plan to do another application of this produt this Sunday(7 days later) since the lawn clearly needed what this product offeres. Then I will switch to the 30 day cycle until winter. I already appled the Scotts Max Weed and Feed to help with deeper roots for a healthier lawn next year, and this product helps the lawn absorb the nutriens in the Scotts Max. The lawn from front to back looks like a thick. dark green shag carpet. Suggestion: For more hard/difficult lawns, apply the conditioner and lightly rinse the product from the grass blades, wait an hour or two for the product to soak in. Then soak in slowly with sprinker for at least 20 minutes. 5 minute intervals, so the water has time to soak in without running. Wait three days and soak again. Apply again at day 7 and soak again. The harder longer the lawn has been compacted, the longer it may take to naturally condition the soil.

Does exactly what it's supposed to
Wasn't able to manually core aerate my lawn seeing as it was basically neglected for 30 years. So tried this and used it for 4-5 applications and now no problem manually aerating. Grass grows and looks 100% healthier and greener.

Apparently great
I had an area of my lawn I could not even get a screwdriver or shovel into the ground. It was so hard I mixed up 6 ounces of this in a 2 gallon sprayer and treated the area a couple weeks apart. Significant difference in greening and soil hardness. While it’s not perfect, it’s much better.

Not a cure, maybe snake oil?
Used about half of it on the hard spots of lawn. Two applications. They say it takes time, but by now I expected to see happier grass or the lawn take water better. I think the product suffers from a lack of measurable results in a reasonable timeframe. Could be my issue, but I won’t buy again

Best thing I have ever put on my lawn!
Have to admit, I was sceptical. However, after only 3 days, my lawn has responded fantastically! I had 5 or 6 brown spots that I thought I would have to reseed. The rest of the lawn was growing unevenly with parts barely growing and other spots growing normally. In most places in the lawn, I could only push a screwdriver into the soil 2 or 3 inches. My lawn was so hard and bumpy my lawnmower was bouncing around while mowing. I applied the Covington Liquid Lawn Aerator just 3 days ago at 32oz for 6000 square feet. I watered it in with my garden hose sprayer as recommended. Lucky for me, that evening, we received an unexpected 1" rainfall. I think that may have contributed to the product working so quickly for me. Anyway, 3 days later, it looks like I have a new lawn! The brown spots have all but disappeared. The entire lawn looks lush and green and feels soft and cushiony under foot. I can push my 6" screwdriver into the soil up to the handle with minimal effort. I have spent hundreds of dollars on lawn services, fertilizers, etc. , but the Covington Liquid Lawn Aerator improved my lawn more than all of that. After my purchase, the Covington company emailed me to ensure that I was satisfied with the product and offered expert help and advice should I require it. Truly a remarkable product and company. I should say that perhaps my results are better than normal, perhaps because of the rain we received. The accompanying literature stresses that lawn rejuvenation is a long term effort, but they do have a guarantee. I am very pleased with my purchase and will be using Covington Liquid Lawn Aerator from now on.

Works great and easy to apply.
I have used this product several times in the past few years and I love! It works; not overnight but after a few weeks it makes a notable difference in areas where my lawn had clay or compacted soil that isn't great soil for lawns and Covington liquid aerator has made it grow grass like the rest of my lawn!

No difference
I am not seeing any visible difference in my lawn or gardens. I suppose if you have heavily compacted soil this presumably could help it to absorb water a little better resulting in improved growth, but I am not seeing the slightest change in my case. So, I would stop there, BUT I have to address the customer service problem. They included a coupon for a free sample or a substantial discount on a product, with free shipping. I tried to take advantage of this right after receiving the product with the offer. I put a bottle of fertilizer in my cart, entered the code and tried check out; while it took off the discount, the website didn't remove the shipping. I tried exiting and reopening the website, removing the product from my cart and adding it back, etc. but the same thing kept happening. I wrote to the company, only getting a reply after a couple of weeks. They responded saying I needed to proceed with the checkout for it to go thru, I had already done this several times, but tried again and failed, sending them a screenshot showing the cart ready to be paid with discount applied and shipping charges STILL showing. I was very polite in my response, too. Crickets!!!! No reply. I doubt this company has any standing behind either it's merch or its offers. Knowing that this product doesn't work, I'm glad I didn't waste any more money on their fertilizer. There are plenty of other sources out there with GOOD customer service and who do stand behind their products. I strongly recommend you look elsewhere.

Just sprayed today
I’ll give it 5 stars initially because it smells good and I want to taste it, but my better half said no. I used the red top ortho sprayer to apply this to the yard. I started off with 8oz of product in the sprayer, and like a doofus set the sprayer head dial to “8oz”. One small 7’x7’ ft spot of my yard now has about $10 of product in it as it emptied the sprayer jug FAST. I then dialed it down (without reading instructions of course) to about 1tblspoon but that took forever. Finally felt 4tablespoons setting on the dial felt about right. Slow application but definitely getting pumped out. I went over the lawn twice with that setting as I have very hard clay cement under my st Augustine grass. I also applied another 8oz directly and exclusively to a trench line I’ve been trying to dig out. It’s been to hard for a pick axe and a tiller can’t make any good progress either. Really hoping this helps soften it up. I’ll check tomorrow and see if anything magical happened overnight. FYI I watered the lawn manually after each application, just a nice slow spray down to try and get the product into the soil but not so much it ran off into the street. I preemptively ordered another jug as I used the bulk between the trench line, that 7’x7’ corner, and the rest of the lawn. I figure I’ll reapply in a few weeks and then again mid-spring if it works this time around. If it helps me dig this trench, it’ll be worth it. If it makes my grass happier, that’ll be a bonus. Stay tuned. UPDATE: Not sure what I was expecting, but it didn’t magically soften the clay packed soil I was trenching. One thing I have noticed in the two weeks since I’ve sprayed the lawn is that it’s become easier to stab the sprinklers into the ground. Whereas before I would constantly bend the cheap metal sprinkler stake, now the problem is often that the sprinkler feels too loose. So maybe this stuff works. I have been watering every 2 days this summer to keep the lawn alive, so it could just be that.. but I genuinely feel as if the soil is easier to penetrate this year. I’ve also noticed the blade width of my st Augustine has almost doubled in size. Where it would normally be about 1/8”-1/4” in width, some blades are freaking half an inch wide. I did recently fertilize, and of course frequent watering, so again.. could be that… but I think I’ll give the lawn a good spray or two every year with this stuff. When your team wins the Super Bowl you make sure you’re wearing the same socks the following year… so I’m not changing anything up if the grass is the best it’s ever been!
