These are probably not genuine Kong balls!!
I can swear to it of course but going of the evidence before me I can only conclude that these are not genuine Kong balls. My dog has had a Kong ball from Petsathome for a number of months...it is virtually indestructible and you can see from the photo(first one) that although it has become misshapen it is intact at the ends, I assume it is welded in some way.The Kongs I have had delivered today do not appear to be welded but simply glued with water soluble glue as the glue came off after less than a minute in my dogs mouth...5 minutes later the end was undone..(2nd photo) I removed it before things got worse for the dog...this was just me throwing it in the garden and the dog retrieving. Less than 10 minutes play and its useless. My other evidence is that my dog is manic trying to get at the balls...this never happens with genuine Kongs...she likes them but will drop at command...this was a struggle to get her to release...something is not quite right but I'm certainly not letting my dog anywhere near them and returning them to Amazon where I hope they will investigate.

Great Dog Toy
This is the third Kong Ball we've had for our Jack Russell. They're great but don't last that long - with our dog. Maybe 2 months max. Be aware - our dog likes to chew open the end piece where the squeak comes from and because they've made this ball quite durable, it's moulded internally to give it extra strength. Once the whole appears, my advice is throw it away. On two separate occasions (the first time we thought was a one-off) our dog got her bottom jaw and tongue stuck inside the ball and I had to cut the ball carefully into pieces to get this thing off her. This is a great toy and our dog loves it, so we've got her another one - only we'll bin it when she starts to open it up.

Expensive piece of rubber
Firstly, this is a dog toy, so one dog's treasure is another dog's nuclear waste and unfortunately mine just doesn't see the point in this long piece of plastic. It's billed as an alternative to a stick, which can cause splinters and is a choking risk but really, this is no stick. It's smooth and has a hole through it - my football has more stick-like qualities to it that this thing. Some dogs will love it but mine hasn't touched it after repeated attempts and the logs by the woodburner are still being munched on.

good sturdy squeaky toy
my big puppy GS cross loves it, he looks so happy when playing with it - though it drives his human parents crazy with the noise, hence 4 stars. The quality is great and it still squeaks after many hours of fun, actually after a wash looks new. We only give it to our large dog now the afternoons when we are both out to keep him amused. The product is sturdy - our dog goes through toys very quickly but with the KONG and Nylon range but being undestructable we will be sticking with them both.

Not as strong as they used to be
My dog has always loved these balls and they’ve lasted very well. Unfortunately the last one I bought only lasted about 2 days. It definitely wasn’t as strong as previous ones we’ve had. The squeaker died very quickly and the ball was reduced to mush in no time.
