the plastic will wear down (it’s gray under the plastic and it’s obvious from even a distance) and will probably take about 7-9 months. But i’m a dude so it’s in and out of my pocket. The plastic pieces are separate from the rubber and will eventually not be in the best shape. but it comes really nice and i imagine if u take care of it, it won’t deteriorate as quick.the rubber part is the real case and protection and works great, really great.no real complaints. i’m not as “ascetic” about my phone cases so the wear on the plastic ,though obvious, is easy for me to forget and it doesn’t bother me and i don’t care so i like the case for the price.***the only con that actually gets to me is if your on youtube (meaning the phone is horizontal) it is really hard to get to the screen u slide up where the volume and brightness controls are. its almost impossible because it “protects” the sides of your phone from your finger...idk i don’t like flipping the screen just to get there because i often mirror my phone to my tv to watch stuff

when I’m at work I do a lot of bending and my phone falls out of my pocket often. Was looking for a girly case that was cut and protect my phone. This case was best investments I have made with protecting my iPhone. The phone company sold me a defender case for $100 it was said to be waterproof. But I couldn’t used my phone with out headphones I thought it was something wrong with the phone. But since I have made this purchase I can now talk on my phone without putting everyone one speaker or using headphones so people can hear me with the same protection as the more expensive case sprint talked me into purchasing, for only $10. This case is not water proof. But often neither is the more expensive ones. I have had this case for mounths now and it has taken a good beaten and I can’t tell you how many times I drop my phone in a days work. My phone and the case still looks great. And my screen doesn’t have so much as a scratch or nick on it. Very daurable well worth the investment. Better quality than the outer box I purchased with it for double the price.

Fit for purpose

Overall this is a good case. Originally I thought the top layer included a screen protector (similar to the life proof cases where you don't need to use a screen protector), but it doesn't, it's just the rubber sleeve and the plastic top and bottom. It kind of stinks that the back has the window for the apple logo but no protection to prevent that back portion of the phone from getting scratched (unless you already have a rear screen protector on your phone). The only big downfall to this case is that the ringer on/silence switch on the top left side of the phone is absolutely impossible to get to (and I am a girl with average size fingers), but alas, my phone is on silent 99% of the time anyway. All in all, the case was like 7 bucks so it's definitely worth the cost!

This is a great case. Its very study, the lavender color is gorgeous in person and its perfect for my daughters phone. The case comes in multiple parts and offers a lot of protection to the phone. The first part is an overall soft plastic phone case, then the hard part snaps onto the front and back in 2 parts. The only downfall is some headphone jacks interfere with the soft case part so you really have to push it in to get it to work. Its not a big deal, and the case is nice enough to deal with the headphone jack issue. The other minor issue worth noting is that the case is thick, thus, its slightly challenging to turn the sound button on/off on the left side. You have to get your fingernail in there to reach it.

We just received this case (the blue/gray version) and I absolutely love it. I got it for my husband who is not the gentlest of men, so I was looking for as much protection as I could possibly get for the fragile Iphone I handed down to him. (This is his first smartphone). I was pleasantly surprised to see that this is basically two cases - a soft rubber shell that covers pretty much every white surface that could break and a hard shell that snaps on over it keeping everything in place. Very easy to put on, and it makes for a great protection package. Some of the other reviews I read said that the materials were cheap, but I can't agree with that. This gives a lot of protection for the money! Not to mention that it looks nice - the blue/gray version is very "manly" and my man is very happy with it, too! :-)

I really like the two tone lavendar colors. The case is actually three pieces. the silicone skin wraps around the curved edges of the phone. Then the back and front plastic pieces snap on around the silicone skin. I liked that the case was has mild breaked edges verse totally smooth curves; so, it doesnt easily slim from grip. Since I have arthritis and very poor grip and the back plastic piece has NO Texture, I am returning this case.

Arrived quickly, seems sturdy (although it felt flimsy until all 3 parts were snapped together). The only awkward thing is the round thumb on/off at the bottom of the iphone is inset in the frame and is easier to reach with my thumbnail. The recharger pirt it tite too. Overall it is nice looking and has a good grip. I have not dropped it yet, so I cant speak to durability.

It said 5.5 inches, but it measured over 6 inches, too big for iPhone 6. Did receive refund which was good.
