First, it's great. The pump is cast iron and extremely well built. The drive system and tank are solid. I have no complaints which I why I purchased it. Here are the downsides.1) The documentation is scant at best. It covers the basics but not much more.2) The junction box for electrical is a bit cramped. You will sweat a bit getting the wires hooked up.3) The on/off switch is inferior plastic and not well thought out. I can see that giving out but for now, it does the job.4) When delivered the pallet busted apart and the packaging was bubble wrapping. Kind of cheap.5) You can contact Puma for questions but the website is BARE minimum. It's kind of unfortunate. This is clearly a small company.However, as stated before this is extremely well built and solid where it matters. I had no problems setting it up and getting it running and loved the quiet. For a compressor this size, it's really quiet and fills up quite fast compared to my old 20 gal.

Bought this for my husband for Christmas for our new second garage that was just built. Went to take the plastic wrap off and found an oily mess! The entire compressor was soaked in oil which also made oil stains on the new concrete floor. A fitting off the oil reservoir was very loose and they must’ve had it on its side during shipping. Not the end of the world but this first impression wasn’t impressive. Wiped off the vast majority but didn’t have time to really detail it yet. Don’t think it’ll hurt the functionality but if I don’t degrease every inch it’ll be a giant dirt and grime magnet for life. Needless to say it’s not up and running yet. I’ll update again when it’s seen some run time.

When we needed a new compressor for the shop we wanted to upgrade from 110v 20 gal. This compressor not only is three times the size but also much quieter then it’s predecessor. Still working through the break in period on this unit but so far we are thoroughly impressed with it. If there are any issues I will update this review.

This compressor is super quite compared to any others I’ve worked with, and fills up quick enough for my needs, I am using it in a home garage, impressed it is actually American made

My 15 year old no-name Chinese 21 gallon compressor caught fire one day while using it, so I was suddenly in the market for a new compressor. You can get a comparable unit for a little less, but then you have to go pick it up; this bad boy comes with Prime delivery! It comes very well packed. Hook up is easy, and it's VERY quiet. This was a fantastic purchase!

I purchased this air compressor in November of 2018. The motor has fried 4 months after warranty expired. I installed the compressor per manufacturers instructions. it is wired correctly to a 220V outlet. Disappointed to say the least.

Great compressor. Very nicely priced and works just as well as ones twice the price.Pressure gauge was broken but a cheap simple part to replace and didn’t bother me.Gets used a lot for painting and bodywork and has done all that’s been asked no problem.

So far so good. Very quiet. Fills quickly. Well built except for on/off switch. Price just jumped tremendously though. 3/25/18 I paid $699 now 4/30/18 it is $771. 9/18/22 still works great but it is not worth the almost $4,000 they are asking for it now. I thought the last price jump was tremendous lol. This one is horrendous!
