Best Prenatal EVER!!
I have been using this prenatal since the day I found our I was pregnant at about four weeks. I originally bought it from Whole Foods after speaking with several of the people who work there in the vitamin area. The people were very knowledgable so I took their word that this is hands down the best prenatal that you can buy. I also looked into the New Chapter Perfect Prenatal which claims to be organic and natural. Well that is not true, some of the vitamins on their list are man made and arent all derived from plants! The Mega Food prenatal is the only one that gives you real vitamins derived from real plants for EVERY single ingredient.I experienced morning sickness for about a month beginning in my 10th week of pregnancy and I can promise you that these vitamins had nothing to do with my nausea or the crappy feeling. Also, since I have had constipation problems for my entire life I was skeptical of adding a ton of iron to my diet which prenatals are known for doing. Baby and Me has the minimal amount of iron in it but still gives you the 100% daily value that you need with out overloading your body. The natural and organic form of iron is much easier for your body to digest! I am 28 weeks and constipation has not become worse than I dealt with before. This prenatal really is the cream of the crop. I suggest buying it from here and saving yourself a trip to the store and 15 bucks! I was paying 50 a month for it originally until I found it on here. Just make sure you dont run out before your next shipment arrives!

The BEST money can buy! Better than New Chapter!
I have done a lot of research on prenatal vitamins and tried a fair share of them as well. First of all, as someone who gets nauseated easily, these have never made me feel sick, even when taken on an empty stomach! Synthetic vitamins are a big NO NO. Especially when pregnant. Studies have shown that the body does not absorb and put synthetic vitamins to use as readily as whole food versions. This means that if you are taking a synthetic vitamin, despite the actual daily value stated on the label, your are actually getting significantly less. A whole foods vitamin ensures your body is getting what it needs everyday in an easily digestible way that allows your body to absorb and use the nutritional value just as it does your food. You do have to take 4 pills a day, but my research has taught me that dividing up your vitamin throughout the day is actually more beneficial. I take two in the morning after breakfast and then two more after dinner. Doing this ensures that you and your baby are getting adequate nutrition throughout the day. Plus you aren't overwhelming your body with too much to absorb at a time. Why Mega Foods over New Chapter ? New Chapter whole foods prenatal has a lot of positive reviews, but I believe the consumers have been misinformed or have not done enough research. First of all New Chapter's prenatal does not have adequate folate. It only contains 400 mg when you need 800-1,000. Recent studies have shown that some people may need even more than that! Personally I feel better knowing Mega Foods has 800mg and then I get added folic acid from my daily food intake. Another great thing about Mega foods is that it contains NO SOY! New Chapter actually includes various soy based nutrients. If you are trying to conceive and/or are pregnant any soy products are a bad idea! Soy increases estrogen in your body which can throw off your natural hormone balance and negatively impact your baby's development. Now an occasional cup of soy milk or miso soup isn't going to harm you or your baby, but consuming a product daily with soy can. New chapter includes a pro biotic within the prenatal itself. I believe its far better to consume a pro biotic on its own and take it at a separate time than your prenatal. Also worth noting is that Mega foods contains no gluten, no dairy, and no sugar. This makes it a fantastic prenatal and breastfeeding supplement for those who suffer from allergies and/or have blood sugar problems.I recommend taking Nordic Naturals DHA supplement along with this prenatal vitamin and also add in a good Cal/Mag supplement and Carlson's D3 drops to give you and your baby everything you need.

Fantastic Product
I've used these pre-natal vitamins during my entire pregnancy and I would recommend them to any expectant mother. I've had great energy, I rarely get heartburn, my baby is active and healthy and I've never felt sick from taking these on an empty stomach. I'm sure there are other factors for the ease of my pregnancy, but I definitely notice a difference in my energy level when I miss a few days of taking them. I plan to continue taking them for as long as I'm breastfeeding and if I can afford to, I'll put my entire family on a daily regimen of this brand of vitamins.Helpful hint: The taste is pretty terrible but if you take them with orange juice, there isn't so much as an aftertaste. Also, In my first trimester I only took 1-2 a day instead of the recommended 4. This made them last longer and babies needs are so small at this point that it seemed like over-kill.In my second trimester I took 3 a day.Now in my third trimester, I take all 4 -- 2 in the morning and 2 at night.

Morning sickness? Not with these!!
I love these prenatals. Went to the Dr. To confirm my pregnancy test, and was given a prescription for pre-natal vitamins. Being a silly first time momma I bothered to fill the prescription. Looked for ingredients, couldn't find them, asked the pharmacist, got some sass, pushed the issue, got the ingredients, read and was horrified... Hydrolyzed soy, red 40, etc. NO THANK YOU! Gave them back to the pharmacist, got some more sass. I said I would find my own vitamins, without so many additives and toxins, and he said "good luck finding something like that"... So I said, "um... Ever hear of whole foods?" Then I found these... These lovely little pellets of well being... No morning sickness the whole time as long as I woke and quickly hydrated and took my vitamins. My friend was also pregnant and tossing her cookies every morning. I asked her if she took the prenatals her Dr. Prescribed (we are in the same network) she said yes... I told her to stop and switch to my vitamins, she did... Guess what?!? You guessed it... Puking stopped. It seems downing synthetic vitamins and a bunch of fillers is not a good idea when your body is going through its greatest challenge. Save yourself! Save your breakfast! Avoid synthetics!
