Dr. Martens Women's 1461 Patent Oxford

Well I bought these as they were £30 cheaper then buying them from the proper Dr.Martens store and I wasn't disappointed. They're exactly the same colour as the picture and came on time, and in tissue paper, in the proper DM's box. I bought them for the Summer as the boots I have-though lovely-are too winter-y, and they go nicely with short dresses and really can lift an outfit. The only downside is they do take some wearing in, so don't wear them for the first day when you know you will be walking around a lot or you will get painful blisters! (and this is true with all DMs) All in all however, a first-rate purchase.

The docs are great, Im a 6.5 wide UK so bought a 7 which fitted perfectly. The colour is more pink than described but none the worse for that. Very comfortable as well. My last pair lasted 20 years. I shall buy more colours when funds allow. Quick delivery, recommended.

Bought them in Blueberry at half the RRP after wanting them for ages. Not disappointed at all! They did rub at first, as is expected from Docs, however it took a while for them to start rubbing, which is unusual as my feet usually get sore quite quickly. They go with everything, definitely worth every penny.

Have the yellow Dr Martens, they are more of an acid than a soft yellow, but still very stunning. They are a soft leather, more or less true to size and very comfortable. I normally slather Vaseline, when first wearing DMs, on the parts of my foot that may be affected by rubbing, heels, side of feet and side of toes (works a treat, advice given by a Dr Martens retailer many years ago), but I haven't needed to with these and they are a great Spring/Summer alternative to the boots, lightweight yet still recognizably Dr Martens!Despite the disapproval of many customers of the move to manufacture the footwear to China and Thailand, I can honestly say that of the shoes and boots I have bought more recently (16 at the last count!), I haven't had any problems. I will admit that I tend not to wear the same pair more than once or twice a week, but I do have many pairs over 10 years old that, kept in original boxes, are still in pristine condition). These shoes are half the price of the Made In England range (and I've read some not so favourable reviews of these as well) and I do love the splendid colours and patterns of the modern DMs. All in all I am very happy with these from Amazon and have now ordered the off-white pair.
