Naturally Med NM/OL098 Carving Board, Brown

It doesn't quite measure 50 cm, about 49cm and in width there is a small area which is 22.5 cm but the majority of the board is less than 20 cm wide, a good one third is 16 cm only. Not usable really for a carving board, won't even take a chicken.It has started to develop multiple hairline cracks, despite the fact that I put olive oil on it as soon as I got it. Maybe my apartment is too warm, who knows?Anyway it was too heavy to return. I can see why these boards are not popular, you don't really know what you're getting from the seller and some olive wood boards crack more than others. I have salad servers from another seller that have never done that, might be the way a batch of wood dried or was prepared before carving.

I first bought a smaller olive wood board and liked it so much I bought this larger one and a set of rustic bowls. Perfect for presenting food and practical too. I keep them oiled with some olive oil to prevent them drying out.

I purchased this as a gift for my Son when he received his MBE from the queen. He relaxes from his music career by cooking and this has been well used since giving it to him. He loved it

Die 2 Punkte gibt es dafür, dass es Olivenholz war und schnell geliefert wurde. Ansonsten entsprach die Ware nicht der Beschreibung, da sie von den Abmessungen her 10 cm kleiner war als angegeben - das ist zu viel!
