I really don’t know what all these reviews are talking about with “cotton candy flavor” because I’ve never had a babylips product that tasted like anything... that being said, babylips lip balms always smell really nice and this one has a sugary scent to it. I like that it is glossy on the lips without being sticky, and that it adjusts to your skin’s pH. It goes on clear, and adjusts to a complementary pink. My pink is very subtle and makes my lips look a little healthier. This one is called “glow” for a reason- it makes the lips look bright and radient on the skin without being an unnatural color. Great for a subtle or natural look on the lips, ideal for those that want a slight little oomph without having to actually put on lipstick or to reapply.

I already love the shine and feel of the crystal clear version of baby lips, now that I've tried this glow balm, I love the same shine and feel but also love the extra bit of color they dye my lips. Weirdly enough, though they add the merest barely perceptible hint of color, it actually makes a huge difference when I put lipstick on over the top, it brightens up the shade to make it appear quite different. I'd been on the hunt for the perfect fuschia-red lipstick and was continually disappointed by how brick-esh or dull they all looked - but now that I've lightly 'dyed' my lips with this glow balm - all my red lipsticks have the perfect bright intense retro red that I was trying for. and my lips are SUPER moist and soft when I prep them with this before putting the matte lipstick on.

I am a newer consumer for Baby lips and found this particular shade to be pleasant. The picture was taken after one application. It definitely changes color when applied. My lips feel moisturized, but not sticky. I do find that I am applying it a bit more than some of the other more expensive brands I’ve tried. For the money and performance, this product earns four stars.

[bzymom's freeloading daughter here]I bought this hoping it would be like the Tarte Energy balm stick they used to have years back, which was just a pH adjusting lip balm in a very similar pink. This is THE SAME thing and so much less expensive. Highly recommend. It adjusts to a bright-ish pink with a soft sheen, nothing too pigmented that you need to look in a mirror to put on like a traditional lipstick but somehow still present, being perfectly in the middle of lipstick and balm. It is not has hydrating as a straight lip balm, however, but I find that is true with most pH adjusting lip products. I cocktail my application: putting on a layer of this followed by normal balm to get hydrated lips that show up on my pale face. It's a great product!

I've never liked wearing lipstick, or any makeup for that matter! I was in need of some chapstick and was interested in a lightly tinted one, when I came across this product I was excited to try it and so curious what my color would be... how cool is this?! Slightly more purple than I would have chosen for myself, but with green eyes its absolutely perfect! I add just a touch to my eyelid crease and my cheeks, as well :)I have to disagree with other posters regarding the scent, I smell WHITE CHOCOLATE!I'm glad I ordered a couple extra for my daughters' stocking stuffers. At this price, why not give it a try?

There are so many products I can’t use because of certain popular ingredients. I was happy to find this lip balm that I can use. I have to be able to read all the ingredients. I bought one at first, and I liked it, so I ordered three more. Next three had labels stuck right over the ingredients. I have to read the ingredients on every package every time. Case in point: I ordered Silk and Shine last time, and two of the four packages had a different formula which I can’t use. The labels were very difficult to remove, and did not come off cleanly.I don’t find these very moisturizing. I wish I could find a lip balm I could use that has lanolin in it. But, any port in a storm…I asked my husband if he liked the smell. He says it smells like wax and maybe vanilla.If you like to buy things like this as “stocking stuffers“, beware: the package on the first one was dirty and creased.

As for color, I have not noticed too much of one except a little bit of a flushing. I don't know if that's due to the moisturizing effect or for the reason advertised.It's very moisturizing, It's done a good job for chapped lips when I would otherwise need to use something medicated.If you happen to enjoy the scent of Cotton Candy, this is it!The scent is long lasting too. There's not much of a taste.I've been using this since April 2018 and as the picture shows I've got over half of a tube left so it sure takes you a long way for it's price.
