Use the size chart on 5.11's website if you want this to fit perfectly. I made sure the torso was tight and the sleeve length would work, and the shirt came as a flawless fit that looks great. Your arms may sweat in very hot weather because when they say durable poly/cotton ripstop, they mean it. The sleeves and collar are heavy and seemingly indestructible while the body is light, soft, and cools you off. Plus, it's made so that you can roll up the sleeves if you have to. I'm a civilian and I love 5.11, I wanted a shirt from them with patch adhesion because I have lots of cool non-military patches. The shirt keeps me cool and protected from the sun while I'm cycling or walking.

The shirt is comfortable and seems well made. The torso fits tight against the body which is nice while wearing plate carriers, packs, you name it. I'm 5' 7", 160 lbs. I ordered a medium. The torso fit well like I said; at first the arms seemed a bit baggy, but in reality once I started wearing the shirt and moving around in it and working, the sleeves left a good amount of room for my arms.I work in maritime law enforcement, and this shirt is absolutely perfect for the job. The sleeves seem to have some water resistance to them, which is nice when I'm out on the water.I've gotten products from 5.11 before, so I wasn't surprised with the good quality. I will say that if you want more than just a pocket on each shoulder, you'll need to get a different shirt. Or if you want the absolute best stuff, go for tru-spec but it'll cost you more. Overall, I am a satisfied customer. :)PS shipping was fast!!

The shirt is well built and can be worn in un tucked for CHL. For those who live in the southern US perhaps more of a winter shirt. As new seems to be rough in texture ie not a cotton like feel but again there is always a trade off.

I love it as I love pretty much every 5.11 product ever purchased. The main difference with this shirt is how the size differs from the TacLite Pro Long-sleeve shirts (which run very large). With the TacLite Pro shirts I fit a Small perfect (I am normally a Med). I ordered this in Small, thinking it was a 5.11 thing, but when it came I wish I had ordered it in Med. I still wear it, the sleeves are plenty long enough, it is just a very tight fit around my chest and upper body. I have since bought the same (Rapid Assault) shirt in Med, and it fits slightly loose, but is better. Solid 4+ stars still.

For the price range, this is the best combat shirt I own. At one point, I wore this every week for a year. The only tearing I noticed was on the bottom of the shirt where gear on my battle belt rig would dig into it. Other than that, the shirt is plenty reliable. I own tru-spec, 5.11, and condor battle shirts. This one is the best as far as comfort and reliability.

Received mine today. Before I ordered, I went to the 5.11 site and reviewed their size chart. I followed their recommendations and my individual pullover fits great! The sleeves are designed to be a little baggy to support arm gear under the sleeves. I strapped my wrist supports to my comfort and no length issues. I’m 6’3” 245 (not overweight) and have a 48” chest. I went with the XXL which supports a 50” chest and I have ample room. If you wish to wear additional like a thermal it will suffice adequately! Length was better than anticipated! Can tuck in with confidence!

Pretty good shirt material and constructions seem of high quality. I think it runs a tad big not much but I'm only 5'8" and I normall use a XL if I was using this shirt only under my body armor I might opt for a large. I saw the reviews on the color being a bit big, yes it is a little but can easily flap down and it's not annoying that this shirt is condemned. All around a good shirt to have under your body armor. It evens looks nice enough to wear casually but maybe in the blue or black. I got the green and looks like military or LEO.

Das Shirt wurde von mir sowohl beim Schießsport als auch im Urlaub verwendet, durch das Material und den hohen Kragen gab es keine Gelsenstiche, auch in tropischen Regionen verwendbar, schnell trocknend.Die Ärmel können nicht hoch geschoben werden (über den Ellbogen), die Verschlüsse sind gut, auch der hohe Kragen stört keinesfalls wenn er vollständig geschlossen ist, und engt nicht ein.Die Patchflächen sind ausreichend groß gestaltet.Absolute Kaufempfehlung - 5.11 Qualität!

Lightweight tac-shirt which is comfortable to wear, even in warm climates. The body is made from a soft breathable fabric and the sleeves are made from sturdy "ripstop" material which has two layers on the back of the arms and elbows to make it easier and more comfortable to lean downwards on a rough surface or the edges of a desk. There's no padding but the extra layer of material does have some positive effect. The front of the collar has a soft flap that completely covers the top of the zipper so it doesn't rub against your neck or chin. There are two large pockets, one on each upper sleeve, which are angled forwards for easy access and have strong velcro fasteners. The outside of the pockets has a large patch of soft loop velcro so you can attach patches or whatever you want to the outside. The body is close fitting whilst the sleeves are loose fitting, and I have no difficulty in moving around when wearing this shirt. Can't really fault it.

Aufgrund meines 3 wöchigen Aufenthalts in Vietnam bräuchte ich noch ein passendes "Tropenhemd". Da normale Hemden nie die Bewegungsfreiheit von T-Shirts erreichen werden, kam mir diese "Kombination" in den Sinn.Zu mir: 1,87m hoch, 83 Kg schwer und relativ breite SchulternDie Verarbeitung ist wirklich sehr gut. Die Nähte sind alle sauber und der Stoff strahlt Hochwertigkeit aus.Funktionalität zeigt sich hier in mehreren Aspekten. Der Torso trocknet wirklich schnell und besitzt an den wichtigen Stellen Belüftungsmöglichkeiten, welche aber nicht zu grobmaschig sind.@ Moskitos :)Die Ärmel bestehen aus einem robusteren Material. Nicht wundern, wenn man nach dem ersten Anziehen einen Türsteher im Spiegel sieht: Die Klettverschlüsse an den Oberarmen sollten erst justiert werden. Für den normalen Einsatz entweder hochkrempeln oder am Handgelenk verengen. Wenn man die Verengung nicht durch den Klettverschluss vornimmt, wirken die Ärmel überdimensioniert. Der praktische Nutzen davon liegt aber in der guten Belüftung, falls man diese kurz öffnet.Neben der Funktionalität ist dieses Hemd auch sehr stylisch. Mir jedenfalls gefällt es sehr gut.Klare Kaufempfehlung. :)
