A bit flimsy but does the job well. Amazon needs to stop repeatedly nagging me for a review of the same product! Seems like a glitch in their A.I. marketing software.

doesn't fit. its too small for a cane. it will not even fit around a broom handle.. I guess it would be great if you were using a tiny twig as a cane.

As a new cane user, I was pretty tired of hearing my cane tip over yet again at my kitchen table. ACK - that loud sound!! This was the affordable and easy solution I was searching for. Clip onto your cane, adjust for table height (does not need to be exact, just in contact with the table), and you're all set. If you knock into it, the cane may slightly jiggle, but it won't go crashing down! My ears are once again enjoying ny peaceful meals.

Good idea, difficult to make it work. The cane shaft should be 1/2 inch. Mine is about 3/8 inch & the holder will not hold tight to the cane shaft. It pops off every time it's used or carried.

I have been using the holder for 4 years now, all of the time. It is very handy and usually holds fine, sometimes need to play with balance and find suitable surfaces to place it on. That of course depends on your cane type and shape. About six months ago it started slipping on the cane, the clip had become loose, but I added a strip of medical tape to the cane and that tightened it up just fine. A few weeks ago I got scratched by a roll pin that attaches the paddle to the clamp had come out of the housing - easy to push back but annoying. I added a drop of super glue gel to the ends and it has stayed in place. Now the spring has broken or its mount has, and the paddle flaps about. Maybe I can fix the spring after the new one comes in. It would be nice if the rubber panel on the paddle was a bit wider, and perhaps made of that sticky plastic they make mats of to hold things in place in your car. So overall I am pleased with it and am ordering a new one!

Cheap and barely works. It barely holds up the cane half the time and is super flimsy.

I've bought one of these before so I knew what to expect. It is adequate though the walking stick doesn't sit vertical. I'd like the hinge & spring made to accommodate different stick weights by a tensioner or adjustment to ensure the tongue remains at a right angle to the stick. I also think the underside of the tongue should be rubberised for grip to smooth surfaces.

Very flimsy, low quality for the price and not conducive to its purpose! Functionality doesn't exist. It doesn't have enough circumference around the cane, and it's for a custom made, wood, normal size cane. It's not secure, the cane keeps falling down, and that was the reason I bought one. It's definitely a total dud!
