Slide-Eez Lift System One Lifter and 8 Sliding Pads To Move Furniture and Appliance Across Any Surface With Ease - desertcart.com Review: It really works! - For context, Iโm a small woman (5โ4โ and 130 lbs). My queen bedroom set is heavy and professional movers generally struggle with the dresser. With this handy tool, I managed to move my entire bedroom set into another room down the hall all by myself after I purchased a new bedroom suite. The leverage tool is brilliant and makes it very easy to lift something heavy up enough to slip a slider pad underneath. After you put a pad under all four corners, itโs really easy to just slide whatever youโre trying to move to where you want it. If the gap between the item you want to move and the lip of the tool is too wide OR you donโt want to put a lot of pressure on the item itself for fear of damaging it, I just bridge it with a thick book and it still works. Iโve since moved a heavy office desk by myself as well. The sliding pads that come with it will work with smaller items (desk, filing cabinet), but I separately purchased and used much larger sliding pads for my bedroom set. Great gadget to have around! Other reviewers have commented on the leverage tool breaking, bending and/or the lip flattening out, but I havenโt had that problem (yet?) despite using it about a dozen times on some reasonably heavy items. Review: Sliders are helpful, lifter tool is not (on hardwood floors) - The sliders work well once in position but as a 5' 100 pound middle age woman I still needed help to move the heavy armoire I purchased these for. The lifter device was not helpful to me because it's not effective on hard wood floors. If you need something to raise a heavy piece of furniture into position to use on hardwood floors, this isn't it. Sorry!

Wonderful
This is just what I needed to save my back. My sister had one and I helped her re-arrange furniture so this made it a breeze. We are both in our 60's and the move and lift helped a great deal. Would buy it again.

The lifter works great on some things but it depends on the piece of furniture you are moving - whether it has legs, how high off floor are they, etc. The pads are no good at all as I found they are just not large enough. They sink into carpeting and won't slide. I had to go to hardware store and purchase some that were larger for carpeting. I haven't tried these on hard surfaces as yet so can't comment on that.

Makes it E-Z
As far as I know this furniture mover is the only one with the lifter. It is a must for anything heavy. It also has a thin plastic molding around hart steel that wouldn't mar your furniture. It helps make it a one man job.

Bends Easily
I used this to lift one side of a medium sized refrigerator about 1" off the floor. The flat end tip bent on the second try. The description indicates this product is good for appliances, exercise equipment, and pianos but I'm thinking it may be only useful for lighter weight items. The sliders I did not use, I only purchased this system for the lifter bar.

Material not strong enough on lifter
I bought this mainly to help lift a refrigerator to help clean underneath it. It didn't lift it far, but it easily lifted it just enough I could slide my hand under the edge far enough to help me clean afew inches under refrigerator and I was very pleased. I had to slide it along and relift every few inches, but it lifted easily for the first three lifts, fourth was a little more difficult, on the fifth try it wouldn't work at all. When I checked it I discovered the lip (which is necessary for the lift) had completely straightened out. I think it was described poorly as it stated it could lift heaviest appliances. My refrigerator is about 25 years old, full sized, but not nearly as large as many modern refrigerators. This device would probably work great with lighter items but not for what I needed. Design is great as I am a 63 year old 127 lb. woman and I could easily lift it and then hold it with one hand so I could clean with other hand, but just not made from strong enough material. It is completely useless now after just 4-5 lifts and I am very disappointed.

The pads do not stay as well as hoped. When sliding a heavy entertainment center on carpet at least one of the four pads will slip off. The padding on the top either needs to be a different material or thicker so they will grip the furniture better. The lifting bar is a back saver and can be used to without the pads if you are just needing to move one end out a few inches.

Great product, works like a charm!
Worked like a charm! Initally was in doubt about using this product for moving my heavy ass closet, across the carpet, but man this thing did wonders. Was easily able to move around furniture and give my room a new look

It works well!
I used this kit to move large appliances at home: my stacked washer-dryer and my fridge. It was easy to move the appliances without scratching the hardwood floors. The tricky part is placing the pads below the feet of the appliances - some appliances do not have a well-designed foot on each corner, so a pad can slip off. Lifting: excellent! Non-marring pads: excellent! Can handle all types of appliance feet: good enough, but needs some work.

Not for heavy refrigerators
This product arrived on time. It is an as seen on TV product, which is not listed there. I needed it to lift my fridge. I tried and not a chance, I tried each corner and would not budge. It seems to be made very sturdy and it would definitely lift a stove or a couch but 100% not a heavy refrigerator. Disappointing but that is definitely not the sellers problem.
