Really bright headlight
This headlight is very bright. I got this for those times when I am having to make repairs around the house in the dark, as well as working in places like the attic. The headband mount makes this light very convenient for working when you do not have someone else to hold a flash light. The light comes in several pieces: the light body goes on the front of your head, the head band, and usb cable, and the battery pack which goes on the back of your head. The battery pack holds standard AA batteries (comes with the light), and has a red led on the back. I guess this might be a nice feature if there is a chance that someone else needs to see you working in the dark. There are two clips that hold the usb cable that goes from the front to the back so that it does not get hung on something. The headband is adjustable, and it is also stretchy so it should be fairly easy to adjust to your size. The light has several brightness levels, as well as a red led mode. The lens is adjustable so it can be focused into a spot light or into a flood light. This light also has a hands free mode so that you can turn the light on and off without touching it. This feature is something that I am not quite sure about. In my testing, it seems like other things can also turn the light off (like getting too close to a wall, or a board in front of your face). This seems like a nice feature, and I am sure that it has a good use case behind it but I think I prefer it to just stay on until I turn off the light. Overall, I really like this head light and can see myself using it for all of my projects in the dark.Disclosure: I have received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review, but that fact has not influenced my opinion about the product. XGlow H5 Headlamp
Not as bright as I expected it to be, but it is bright enough to take on a walk late at night around the neighborhood, or for the reason I bought this headlamp for to keep my hands free while I do work that requires both my hands. No more sticking a flashlight in my mouth, or positioning it in places that will just fall in 10 seconds. I like the motion sensor feature, I just wave my hand in front of the flashlight and it shuts off and turns on, cool little trick, don't know when I will use it but it is a neat trick. I didn't like the fact that it takes 3 AA batteries and that the set I received already exploded so I had to use my own.I did receive this product at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. Please click YES if my review have been helpful to you, it will encourage me to continue writing and updating my reviews, and leave a comment if you have any questions, I will be more than happy to answer if I can be of help.

Bright, easy to work headlamp
The XGlow headlamp is a really great and bright headlamp. As being an outdoor family, forever hunting, hiking, fishing, or just anything outdoors, a good flashlight and headlamp are always needed. The XGlow provides a 230 Lumen brightness, an easy functioning battery compartment that holds three AAA batteries that are included or you can purchase a Li-ion battery for it. On the battery compartment it has a red light. There's two settings, flashing red or it stays on solid red. It's function is to alert people behind you that you are there. (If you are thinking, duh I have a light on my head, in some cases you may have the front lamp off and using sound- hunting, etc it makes for a great added benefit). The beam focus has a little switch up front that changes from a straight on bright pointed focus, to more of an open area focused light. It comes in five modes. Four white settings, bright to a dim light, and a red light. The IR sensor is easy to use with just a motion across the front it's off, another motion and it's back on. If you hold the power button down you can turn it off. Removing the batteries resets it back having the sensor on.The light is bright, I lit up my entire bedroom just playing with it. And it's light weight on you head. With detailed instructions ,I received this product for free or at a discount in exchange for unbiased review.

It's like I'm a flashlight unicorn
Nice headlamp, good coverage to where you're looking. Runs off AA (incuded) or on a batery pack you can purchase. My batteries were old and corroded when they got to me so I couldnt power it up with them but tossed in a few of my own to fix it.When you’re setting up your tent at night, trail running at dusk, or just looking for something in your attic, you can't beat the hands-free lighting convenience offered by a headlamp. Headlamps today use LEDs almost exclusively as their light source. LEDs are rugged, energy-efficient and long-lasting.So, what sets one headlamp apart from another? How do you know what to buy? There are several main variables that differentiate headlamps.Lumens are a unit of measure that gauges the total quantity of light emitted in all directions by a light source. Typically, a light with a high lumens count will consume energy at a higher rate than a light with a lower lumens number. So, the higher the lumens, the brighter the light? In most cases, yes—but not always. How well a headlamp maker focuses and directs that light can impact how those lumens are utilized.A headlamp's fundamental purpose is to channel light to a target area. Headlamps are tested to determine how far (in meters) they can project usable light. While lumens tell you how brightly a headlamp glows (at its source), headlamp beam distance tells you how far it goes (to a surface you want illuminated).I got this at a reduced price for an honest review.
