Awesome gloves
I’ve got proper big hands so was nervous buying 11’s (xxl) when a lot of reviews say they are ‘snug’ and I’m actually size 12. The xxl are actually very generous in size, so any one in the same boat don’t be too nervous. As with other reviews the gloves are very soft and don’t feel like they will be tough enough WRONG, these gloves are awesome, I’ve been ripping out brambles all afternoon without a single thorn making it through - these gloves are absolutely awesome - love them, can’t recommend enough and will be buying some more pairs for ‘stock’.

These gloves are awesome.
It's refreshing to buy something on Amazon that is actually quality and also value for money. Having used these gloves for around 4 weeks now, I can say for certain they are incredibly tough.I have used them to clear out an incredibly overgrown garden with around 5-6 different types of thorns, nettles, brambles, etc. It is very very rare that a thorn will penetrate the gloves - I have not been shy with using them to pull brambles out of the ground by hand. While they are roughed up a bit, that is to be expected given the punishment I've put them under.

Nice(ish)
These are not bad, a little tricky to get on as the inner glove is slightly baggy, and fingers snag on the inner when putting on, but because the inners are a little baggy, they bunch inside makng them a little uncomfortable in use. The leather seams good quality, and the seams seem good, but I haven't tried them on bramble or the like to test the resistance to punctures.

These gloves are a bargain
Wow! Shocked at how good these gloves are at tackling brambles. I was sceptical at first, mainly because of how soft they feel, so I approached the brambles very gingerly. After 10 minutes I was snipping and yanking them out using these amazing gloves. I’m about to buy another pair as spares, or for a friend…or for Sunday best! Whatever! At this price they are a steal.

These are the Bees Knees!
These gloves are so soft and comfortable you automatically feel they’ll not be up to the job … but how wrong was I! I tested them throughly, working through a pile of debris containing sharp objects and grabbing and pulling very secure thorny rose stems without blinking. Worth the money, I’ve had to hide them so no-one else takes them because they’re so good.

Work well - check the size guide on the listing, as work gloves can vary by manufacturer.
Good fit, worked well. Bought these specifically for handling materials going into the Shredder at the Allotment. Got a lot of use on their first outing, dealing with thorns, brambles, raspberry canes and other stuff being shoved into the hopper.Very soft to the touch on the outside. My hands weren't sweaty, but they were warm. Would recommend, but not sure how well they will stand up to rough work, like lifting stone or brick. These cost more than cheaper gloves, but I was getting a lot of thorns making their way through the finger tips of my cheap gloves, as that's where the wear happens, so i'm keeping these with the chipper for that work specifically.

They seem to work!
Aside from the fact that seem to be on the small side (it's real struggle to get them over the hands) they appear to do the job pretty well. Size is probably my fault although I did follow the instruction to determine the glove size.

Brilliant protection
Good quality gloves that will keep out most thorns. But don't expect them to keep out the most vicious bramble or hawthorn thorns, they're not suit of armour gauntlets. Have made sure they're dry before rubbing off any soil, then give them a dose of leather oil to keep them supple. They're really warm, though the lining can be a bit of a pain to wriggle your fingers into, especially if your fingers are damp.Highly recommend to protect your hands from all but the worst thorns.
