Works pretty well on inflatable SUP
Not a bad addition to an inflatable SUP. I switch back and forth between sitting and standing, so this fits the bill. It's easy to install, just adjust the strap lengths and clip to the D rings on the board. The back is pretty flexible though, so you only really get support near the top where the straps attach. The entire lower section just bends backward as you can see in the photo. If you need any lower back support you have to try to stuff a towel or something back there. The pad that you sit on is pretty thin but I'm okay with that. When it's time to stand, the seat can stay clipped and you just slide the seat backwards until the backrest falls forward onto it. Pull forward again later to put it back up. I did find a different seat that had a harder plastic molded back, but it had other issues that made it less comfortable, so I went back to using this one. Some of the iSUP companies sell their own seat, but if you look at the photos, they are identical to this. So I think the manufacturer of this sells OEM branded versions to a lot of different companies because the exact same design keeps popping up, just with different logos. The bag on the back for storing extras like sunscreen or whatever is a nice addition. Too bad it's not waterproof though!Overall, I recommend it.

Just one issue, but a solid seat overall.
So the seat when on really easily, and is very comfortable. Went out with it for a two day float and the first day was perfect. The seat is nice and adjustable and it was really comfy. The next day I was paddling along and it was like the board inside the seat bent or something and there was an uncomfortable spot across the back. The seat still works, and it's still better than the complete lack of seat I had prior to this, it just lost a bit of points for it bending the way it did. Aside from that, it really is a solid seat. Seems to be well made overall.

Love it on my Sundolphin Bali SS 12!
So far it is awesome. I installed it on a Sundolphin Bali SS 12 footer, which had a very low back. I did not have to add any new pad eyes. I took out the two screws holding the old seat in place, and I had to drill two holes into the new seat. It was a bit of a struggle to get the two screws into the boat by myself but is doable. You will need some fender washers since this seat is not designed to be bolted in that location. I had to cut the straps for the OEM Seat to gain access to the D-Rings. This seat provides A LOT more back support and is very comfortable. I have taken it out once with the new seat. We paddled about 5 miles and my bottom got numb. I will be adding a secondary seat cushion for that issue. The only issue so far is getting in from a straddle position. The back is so high I have caught it on my backside getting in.Pics are before and after.

Sit-inside Pelican Kayak
I removed the factory installed seatback, and added 2 padeyes to clip this seat to.... That's it... Install complete. This seat is very comfortable, offers great support, seems to have really good quality, and goes in/out of my boat super fast/easy. Also, even though this is a sit-inside boat there is room for the little bag that snaps behind the seat.I have been out in this boat 2 times and paddled close to 10 miles total. The seat works very well and is extremely comfortable.

Excellent accessory for increasing versatility of SUP
I love this accessory allowing me to use my SUP as a kayak. I do wear a PDF when I paddle so hard to evaluate the comfort but it gives me the support I need to paddle comfortably. It clips on in seconds, a quick adjustment of the straps and it's ready to use. I also purchased a 4 part paddle which converts from kayak paddle to SUP paddle and I believe this is important to have. When I choose to stand up and paddle I can do that easily without removing the kayak seat.
