FEL-PRO VS 50703 R Valve Cover Gasket Set

Gasket kit was expected quality from Fel-pro . It did aid in resealing . But what I found was the valve cover gasket had been done before . At 204,000 miles . The garbage plastic compound the cover is made of was warped out of shape . They sell a metal replacement which I got and then used this kit to seal up . No leaks

So far so good with no leaks. Pain in the a** taking all that extra unnecessary parts off just to access 3 bolts on valve cover.I will say there is no instructions or anything so I went to direct website because I was concerned the valve seal wasnt laying flush or flat...looking like a gap standing above it. (Pictured) vs the org seal was completely flush/flat. BUT don't worry it's supposed to be like that! And Yes btw torque specs are the same as oem! (again had to look up on website, was concerned torque specs right bc seal gap difference) Anyways the seals are made like this to create better and even pressure to ensure long lasting and other scientific etc etc. Lol. hope this helps so y'all don't get confused and second geuss yourself like i did. Lol
