Oregon91VXL062G 62 Drive Link Long Top Plate 3/8-Inch Low Profile Chain

I have bucked 3 cords of wood so far (18" cuts) with my Echo CS400. This chain has yet to need to be sharpened. I've even cut into ice on the ground while bucking wood. I ended up buying more than I obviously needed at this time. I am quite certain I will get through 6 cords without needing to sharpen it. The chips coming off are the same size as when I began.

This made a night and day difference right away. Best upgrade to my saw yet!

I use these on my Echo CS400, huge difference. I love them.

The chain that came on my Echo CS400 was the standard anti-kickback light weight chain. Being new, it cut fairly well. But after only a few sharpenings, the cutting edge dropped below the guards, and reduced cutting. I couldn't wait to install the 91VXL.Besides having a more aggressive cut, the edges cut longer between sharpening, and it only takes a light filing to get them going again. The cutting plates are longer than standard and the chain will last through a lot of cutting.If you can use a chain saw with common sense, this chain will show you the best your saw can perform.My Son was a little apprehensive about using a more aggressive chain on his Husqvarna Rancher, but after seeing how easily and quickly this chain cuts, he found it was actually a lot safer than struggling with the lightweight anti-kickback chains.It cuts quicker also because it removes a narrower cut. But being narrow, it is more likely to heat up and stretch a little. Be sure to regularly check your chain tension, especially after installing a new chain.After pushing through a lot of Black Oak, my chain got a little loose and jumped the bar. Actually bent the links. I filed the burrs off drive links and it was good to go. No matter how much cutting you do, you always have to keep your eyes open.

This chain fits my ​WORX WG304.1. This is truly a high quality chain. The POC chain that came with my chainsaw was truly a POC - the replacements meant for my chainsaw was even worse - it dulled in less than 5mins of use. This chainsaw blade made a world of a difference. My friends would say "o it's not the blade, it's the POC chainsaw you got - doesn't have enough torque - it's electric bla bla bla". They used it again for a second time with this chainsaw and they fell three palm trees without changing a blade. Palm trees have a lot of sand in them so it's real bad on the blades.FYI - the blade meant for this chainsaw is more expensive than this blade. Don't do it! Buy this blade people! I purchased this on the recommendation of a previous reviewer. Am I glad I did. Started with the chain that came with the saw. It made very clean cuts on small objects. It was perfect for cutting through the thick English ivy growing up into my trees. However, that chain could not make it through thick hardwood. Put this chain and oak is no better than butter. It also lasts much longer between sharpening.Highly recommended for the right purpose.

This chain is a refreshing step up from what came with the saw. This chain rips through wood and lasts a long time before needing to be sharpened or replaced. I was so discouraged when I was using the chains that originally came with the saw. They would dull extremely quickly and were such a waste of money. I figured there had to be better chains, so I did some research and came upon this model. It is a winner. Just take a little more care when cutting because this chain is a lot more aggressive then the chain that has you led you here!

I put this chain on an Echo CS400. It cuts great! Vast improvement over the factory supplied chain however it is much more aggressive. I cant comment how much more aggressive it is over the store bought Oregons...I could only find this specific chain online.The saw is now a little bouncy when I'm cutting deep into these rock maples...but it cuts with ease.Id like to think of myself as a step up above a chainsaw noob. Id be skeptical to hand this saw to a friend whos never cut before or a child. Maybe too aggressive for someone whos never used a chainsaw before...however it's a great 2nd chain.

This chain cuts faster than anti-kickback chain and I highly recommend it for anyone who is an experienced saw user.
