Apple MD824ZM/A - Lightning to 30-pin Adapter (0.2 m)

Very expensive but what choice do you have?? It works great and I get to use my stereo docking station so I’m happy!

This product worked well. Previous products did not perform as expected. It has been over a month and Amazon won’t allow me to return the product.

Hard to find adapter for older auxiliary attachment (30 pin for older iPods) on Bose Wave and other boom boxes to lightning on iPod Touch. It works great being an Apple product and not a generic one and brings my audio equipment up to date.

As many of the reviews for this product have stated this adapter is expensive but I was willing to pay to get my tunes playing. I bought a 2011 vehicle that is set up with a female 30 pin connector for an iPod. So I needed something to adapt to an iPhone lightning. This did the trick.

I have a few iPod speaker docks spread around my house from when I listened 24/7 to my no longer working iPod. I decided to buy an adapter to connect my old iPod docks to my iPhone so that I could listen to my iTunes music and podcasts. Before anyone reminds me, I know that I can use Bluetooth to connect my iPhone to my Air Pods or to a portable speaker. My attitude is, I have the iPod docks, why get rid of them if they work fine. I first bought a cheap non-Apple adapter that did not work as advertised. I then bought this Apple certified adapter and everything works great with the iPhone and iPod speaker docks. The original Apple adapter cost three times more than the knock offs, however you get what you pay for.

All the other cables you see won’t charge or play audio. I know it’s silly but you have to pay Apple for the real cable. There’s a reason this cable is $50 and the others only $10. If you need it just buy the real one don’t waste time with the knock off. Trust me I was tempted and almost bought the cheaper one until I read the product description and reviews…. Sound quality is awesome.

Don’t expect the amenities of song skip pause/play but do expect great audio quality and seamless plug and play ease

It only worked as a phone on my 2010 GLK 350. No Audio - no bluetooth - not compatible with iTunes or Apple music.

I’m so pleased with this! I bought it to convert my John Lewis Branded DAB radio with an iPod dock. The lead works perfectly to play music from my Apple SE phone either from iTunes or from Amazon prime music. Really pleased with it. It’s genuine Apple too and boxed. The lead is not too long but it’s just long enough for my phone to lay down on the kitchen counter whilst it’s plugged into the Apple lead. Great buy. Saves buying a new dock / radio.

Expensive but definitely does the job!Would like one of these with a 2 metre cable in between if possible!

Beim Einstecken des Lightningsteckers ins iPhone 5 kommt sofort die Meldung"Dieses Zubehör wird nicht unterstützt". Da fragt man sich, wofür das Teil gutsein soll. Geht umgehend zurück, hätte eigentlich 0 Sterne verdient!

Very short. Intermittent afte few used and now only works one way can’t put the lighting charger in my phone both ways only the one side up.I wouldn’t get another, no good if you want to use your phone in the car in Audi TT, would only be good if you had a new iPod to Chuck in the glove box and let play.

If I could score zero I would. I purchased this adapter to allow me to continue to use a docking station with the old style 30 pin fitting. It does not charge my iPhone and it does not allow me to play my music from the phone through the docking system which is what I wanted it for. It is therefore useless and has been sold under false pretences.
