For the price of this canister its made pretty cheap. The plastic on the canister is thin, the top valve leaks and it's loose. I had to order plumbers tape and add an extra washer that was smaller. For my first canister filter all I can really say is the filters are very nice but hard to get in and out. It's cheaply made. Once I get the leak fixed I will put the extension piece on that I bought and make a cool waterfall. I am running it now with massive electrical tape which is all I had on hand till tomorrow. The water quality in the pond is not very impressive either since the pond is not that bad. Another buy and try item due to covid. I would have paid more had I known this one and others from the reviews had leaky valves. It was very easy to install. If you're thinking of getting this look for one that is made better pay a little more. I figured pond boss you can't go wrong with them... wrong. Have to add to this canister I went out there this morning and the cover from the canister is leaking. Garbage

It was fairly easy to install but we had to use plumbers tape to correct leaks. We haven’t cleaned it yer but I don’t like that you have to take it all apart to clean filters. I anticipate that we will eventually slit the circle filters so we can more easily remove them to clean them .

Great 'functional' and light weight product; works very well for my small pond with fountain and waterfall. Example, the hose adaptors are graduated in diameter meaning I did not have to buy a smaller diameter tubing but could use the ones that used previously. Thank you! Susan ~

I put the product together and it was leaking where the hoses connect. Then the entire filter system was leaking and spraying out the sides. Not worth the money or purchasing. I have never given a product a bad review but this was just poorly made. I have been buying pond products for 20 yrs and this is the first time I had such a bif issue with a product. Very disappointing.

Works like a dream! We have a 400 gallon outdoor pond on our deck and this filter really keeps up. If we go out of town and the water is a little dirty we usually have to do two cleanings the week we come back. But other than that it last about two to three weeks without needing another cleaning!

I cut the filters in half to be able to get them out easier to clean. It clears up the water pretty quick.

Really cleaned the water in our koi pond! Worth the extra money.

The hose for the UV makes it harder to remove filters to clean but otherwise excellent
