This is a VERY comfortable bed! My wife and I started looking for a new bed the week before President’s Day weekend as we had sagging in our spring mattress hybrid bed. We read reviews and articles and began going to stores the Saturday of the holiday weekend. We came across this offer after that first day of shopping. It really seemed too good to be true! You can buy this adjustable base and mattress for the price of a high end adjustable base or a “decent” mattress alone! Sunday continued with about four hours of looking only at memory foam mattresses. We tried all the comfort levels from firm to plush, and we felt confused by it all! With skepticism, we decided to buy this adjustable base with split king mattresses. The mattresses arrived before the base. I opened them up the same day, and they started expanding. While waiting on the base, we tried out the mattresses. I can tell that this mattress feels like nothing else we had tried in our search over the holiday weekend! All the firm foam mattresses I had tried were too firm but about right for my wife. All the soft or plush levels were just too soft for both of us. I would agree this mattress is a medium firm, and it is so comfortable for both of us! The foam adjusts well to your body.The base is great! The mattress and base did fit within the footprint of our king size sleigh headboard/footboard with side rails; I was very happy this worked out! It was a tight fit, but this base would look okay by itself. This may not work out for some beds. I had to move the bed frame around a bit to ensure the up/down and massage features all work without hitting anything. I’m guessing a really good installation team would have handled that for us, but that’s okay. You don’t have to have an existing headboard/footboard with a frame for it all anyway. There’s a base that comes with each remote that has two outlets and two USB charging ports, but it doesn’t serve to recharge the remotes as they each hold standard batteries. Whatever! We won’t be using those at all, but the remote bases may be handy for some people. We like the light under the bed that you can turn on when you get up as well as the zero G and snore settings. Having never owned an adjustable base, we’re pretty pleased with this one so far.The first four nights of sleep have been fantastic! We’ll see how this purchase holds up over time. If it continues to sleep as well as it currently does, we’ll continue to give this product five stars! If you know what you’re doing and have two people, you can set this bed up on your own. If not, pay the extra price for setup. Those options are available at checkout. I’d strongly recommend also purchasing a set of water proof mattress protectors. Know that you CAN buy a quality mattress/adjustable base set for about 25-30% of the price of what the big names want to charge. There are comfortable mattresses out there for a comparable price ($700 - 2,000 more), but I don’t think they’re as good as this combination.

EDIT:Since posting my product review, I received a nearly instant response from the company and they sent a new mattress to replace the bad one. (Perhaps they didn't see my direct message to them?) Based on the resolution of the mattress issue, I've bumped up the star rating to reflect that I have a properly functioning bed now. :) Additionally, since I've had the bed for a while now, I can report that no new issues have surfaced, etc.In regards to the lack of hardware to connect the split king beds, I ended up going to Lowes and getting some very thick zip ties and joining the two pieces together. Not the prettiest solution, but it is on the underside of the bed anyway. I have not had too much issue with bed movement though. Hope this helps.---------------I want to give this product 0 stars at the moment; however, I'm giving this two stars since the product partially works as expected......The good - a) Arrived sooner than the initial time window, though the mattresses arrived before the frame? b) The frames mostly work as expected. c) Price is good for the advertised features, etc.The bad - a) One mattress is essentially DOA. When removed from the vacuum sealed packing, one mattress immediately expanded to full size. The other; however, hardly expanded and looked like a flat tire...... The person present to assemble the frame said that "sometimes they take a bit to fully expand......" I gave it an entire day and saw a slight improvement, but its still nowhere the same as the other mattress b) The mattress that "worked" is much firmer than the other. The "deflated" one does not hold form well and you sink into it easily..... c) The delivery company that arrived to deliver / assemble the frames had no knowledge of the mattresses. They actually told me that they don't setup the mattresses, only what was on their invoice. (the frames) I asked really nicely and they did help me out with the mattresses, but definitely some miscommunication as the product was listed as coming with free assembly, etc. d) I ordered the split -king configuration. No hardware was provided to attach the two separate frames together. Accidentally roll into the middle and *bam* beds separate and you end up on the floor..... e) One of the frames has a odd noise when using the massage function. It appears to work, but for how long?The ugly a) I reached out to the seller immediately and received absolutely no response and it has been well past the 2 business days. Going to take this up with Amazon Prime to see what the options are...... I completely understand that products have issues from time to time, but if the seller/manufacturer can't / won't support their product, that is a major deal breaker for me.Overall it seems that the offering suffers from quality/consistency issues, If you are lucky enough to get a good one, you might be OK. If you get a bad one, good luck getting it resolved.......
