Woolrich Rustic Lodge Cabin Comforter Set- Down Alternative Warm Bedding and Matching Shams King Williamsport, Red Plaid, 4 Piece

When, oh when, is Amazon going to ask you to review an item after a long enough amount of time to really USE the product and know how good it is? Does it drive anyone else crazy that 48 hours after something is delivered, they are asking you for a review? No wonder there are so many reviews that say something like "looks okay and came on time." That is NOT helpful.Okay, on to the review. I've had this comforter for several months, and I love it. Personally I get cold, and we live in a cold climate (northern Wisconsin). We didn't put it on the bed until a few weeks ago, not having been cold enough yet to need a winter weight covering. The blanket is thick but very lightweight, so I was surprised at how warm it is. Even the Frozen Princess (me) is warm all night under this comforter. It's only October, so my warm-natured husband usually pushes his share of it onto the middle of the bed, but come December, even he might like to sleep under it.On looks -- it's okay. Yes, the picture makes it look more gray, and IMHO it would have been more attractive had it looked just like the picture. It still looks nice, however. We've had trouble finding comforters the last few years that we actually liked the looks of, so we kept using an older one that really should have been retired. This one is nice. Not crazy about the bedskirt, though. We do use the bedskirt, so that you can't notice the stuff under the bed that is "temporarily" stored there . . .

Wow, just wow! It is not as high of quality as I am used to with Woolrich, however this substantially less expensive than most Wooolrich items. At this price point it delivers exception quality. It looks absolutely perfect on a made bed. It delivers a rustic/lodge feel. It is warm and a medium weight. I would definitely purchase again, if needed. It dies not pill at all. The weave is tight and small and is durable. It is ,made of a fabric that will not pill. It looks better in person then as photographed. The colors are sharp. It is white, charcoal black and a cooler red. Not an orangery red at all. I have painted the walls in my room revere pewter, and those goes beautifully. :-)

I loved the colors, the comforter is very soft but durable. I would say the comforter is of medium weight. I sleep with a ceiling fan at night so I like a comforter that keeps me warm. This one does the kid of both comfort and warmth!

My son loved this comforter set. It's thick and warm, doesn't feel like it will fall apart after the first wash.

I bought one of these and I love how it looks, the quality feels great. The only strange thing I have noticed is that it feels like it has pulled threads all over it so the top feels rough, it didn't feel this way when I bought it, but after a week it is very rough. It doesn't look bad, you only notice it when you rub your hand over it. I am still happy with it!

This comforter is exactly what I was looking for. It looks great, it’s not to light but not to heavy either. I have small dogs and I love the material because stuff wipes right off of it. I love it.

This was all I had hoped. This had sold out and we had to wait for it to come back in stock. We bought it because of the look and were not disappointed! Some say the dust ruffle material was cheap. Mine was actually a satiny material under the mattress with the showing part (black) a faux suede that, I believe, will hold up very well. I haven't washed it yet, but there is quality in the material that makes me feel it would be fine. However, I may take it to the dry cleaner instead of washing it. So glad I purchased it and it was worth the wait!

The style, colors, and quality of this set is worthy of sets sold for 3 times this amount. It fits perfectly into my sons industrial rustic style bedroom. I highly recommend this set. I wish I could find the Woolrich pillow with the airplane on it but instead purchased the dark gray pillow with a Mousse on it also purchased from Amazon. Great style and quality!!
