Longevity doesn't have to be expensive
I've used this on a number of vehicles OEM 50s and 60s 4 wheels drum brake setups. It works great. Yes you can feel the difference in quality slightly, but for the money compared to something like Snap-on, you 100% cannot beat it. Haven't had any issues with this set and I haven't been careful with it. The spring compression, spin, and pull tool work great. The main handle is sturdier than it looks. The adjusting forks also seems to be holding up nicely. I've had this product for years now and it shows no sign up failing.

Having the Right Tool is Nice!
This is one of those tools you rarely use but are so grateful to have when it’s needed. You can use other tools / wrenches and what not but this kit makes it easy.

The tools are good
Tools are good but the case sucks. Stuff would go back in the way it came out

Helpful but not awesome
Used on a 2002 Tacoma. They're pretty basic tools and sort of work. The long-handled spring stretcher could use some actual grips, it takes a LOT of leverage to pull a spring out of/into position, and the lack of an actual grip made it harder than it needed to be. The spoons for adjusting the brake shoes need to be about 1/4 the thickness to be useful. Too thick, and edges too blunt, to effectively spin the adjuster. Primarily I went back to the old stand-by, a pair of vice grips, to install the new springs. Brutal, treacherous, slips off and draws blood, but ultimately effective. This kit may work better on your car than mine. Who knows. The tool to install the shoe hold-down pins works reasonably well, easier to control than a pair of vice grips. As terrible as a drum brake job is, they did help somewhat. For the price, I'd buy them again. Probably saved me some skin, cursing and maybe 15-20 minutes of wrestling around with screwdrivers and pry bars (and of course vise grips).

Great fit and quality.
Used on drum brakes for a 1997 Dodge 4x4 Laramie.

just a bit awkward to use
I hate to do drum brakes on any car or truck--glad most don't have the old style anymore--I own a 1973 chevy blazer that has these old style drum brakes and I bought this set of tools to service the system. I used to just use pliers and muscle to get those springs in place. My old hands cannot do that anymore. The tools are a bit difficult to use--just could not get comfortable with them--very sloppy ---might just be me. The quality is good and I did not breaking anything.
