It's just ok... would I buy it ...
It's just ok... would I buy it again? i doubt it, especially for the price. It does slightly dampen the "sting" of a hard thrown ball. However, it's not much more effective than placing your index finger outside of your glove... probably, even less so. Still, it does allow you to keep your finger in the glove (if you prefer that, as I do) and does stay in-place in your glove without having to remove and replace it every time. So, for this, I have to give it three stars. BUT, if you looking for significant dampening, then you likely should look elsewhere.

Gets the job done.
The palm guard works, but the elastic bands that goes around your fingers are tight. I use it, but my figures are numb, from the bands. It helps with sting, but you’ll find yourself having to remove or readjust due to the bands.

Always re-adjusting the fit
I have smaller than average hands, so that's probably a factor. But despite my best efforts, my fingers end up sticking out over the ends and the pads tend to turn to the side a lot. The elastic loops are good in theory, but I spend a lot of time re-adjusting the fit. I bought this because I hoped I would get the same benefit as the full glove for 1/3 of the price, but I am disappointed. I thought about maybe adding some pine tar or finding some way to make it stick in my glove. If that works, it would make this product at least usable. And in that way, maybe it's better for catchers anyway.

Great product, let's see how long it lasts
At first this item felt too tight on my fingers, I use XL batting gloves, on the other side has 4 loops so you can put your fingers in.After using it during the game it did not bother me and gave me the protection I needed, we have a lefty that throws around80MPH and finally no pain. Great product, let's see how long it lasts.

Covers and stretches over fingers well, but palm guard could be larger/wider
The thickness is about right. Covers and stretches over the middle and index fingers well. However, would be better if the palm-guard portion could be much larger/wider, going down as far as the thenar-eminence muscles.

Palmgard sting stopper
I play catch with my grandson a lot. He is on a 14U travel team and now that he's older he throws the ball petty hard. I got a bruise on my hand from him throwing and it was hurting petty bad so I couldn't play catch anymore. I purchase palmgard sting stopper and it works great I'm back to catching with him.

Def works
It’s good. If you have never used a pad before it might take a few hours to get used to. But it really helps. I have catches where we are just firing the ball back and forth. A little expensive. But def takes the sting out. It’s better then the other that only cover the inside of the knuckles.

Great Little Tool
Used this to protect my finger while catching Fastpitch (48-60mph) pitchers. Easy to put on and use with any glove. Really helps for those couple pitches that don't quite get caught in the pocket. Very pleased.
