Always had strong hands and fingers until about 3 years ago. I'm 64 and have been struck with fast and severe arthritis like symptom pain in hands. Can't hardly pull slide back and took forever yesterday to break down Glock 21 to clean it. Looked at a few different types of slide assist / charging handles. There were some really nice ones made in Aluminum. One had wide handle on one side from The Glock Store and one with fairly wide finger handle on both sides. I didn't think those would work for me as I'm carrying and the others looked like they would constantly be digging into my side. This one had the optional top piece that's better for carrying. Ordered this one yesterday and they shipped it over night. Took about 90 seconds to put it on after of course struggling to empty chamber and lock the slide back for install. Price is good, shipped fast, and much easier to re-chamber the first round. Oh, and it doesn't dig into my skin when holstered.

Racking assist for weak hands
I needed an assist for racking my Glock and this looked to be the answer. It was very easy to install and so far it has helped me.

Israelis know their weapon tech! This item I imagined years ago and glad Israel made it. It’s perfect, sturdy, easy to pull and the additional sight picture is really nice. It fits well with my drop leg cloth holster, quad level 2 holster, and my regular plastic level 2 button hip holster.

Excellent idea and execution.
Of my various handguns, the Glocks all are difficult to rack if the slide is in any way slippery. That can be dangerous and is certainly inconvenient as your hand slips, fingers and thumb web can get pinched, and let's face it, having a problem manipulating a weapon is just unsafe. This widget allows comfortable and certain racking of the slide- for the price, it's a way to be almost guaranteed of safe and effective manipulation with a slippery slide or in times of stress. Highly recommend this device.

As advertised
No actual issues, just wasn't into after I installed it. Even tried the smaller assist but it's all too BIG for my preferences. I gave it away, it's probably in a trash can somewhere

Great but no fit
Good product have one for my GLOCK 48 but the UCH 21 does not fit the GLOCK 41

Great assist to rack slide
Works well. This is an assist to rack the slide, helps those with arthritis etc. Easy to install. Looks pretty cool. Well made
