What is the difference between the VPT24-1P and VPT24-16 models?

The VPT24-16 model was designed specifically to comply 2019 California Title 24, Part 6 Residential Outdoor Control Device Requirements.

Is a neutral wire required with the VPT24 timer?

Yes, a neutral wire is required for installation.

What does the offset setting do?

Offset time is an optional feature that will allow the user to add or subtract time from the sunup/sundown start and end times. For example, if set to 30 minutes, the lights will turn on 30 minutes after sundown and turn off 30 minutes after sunup.

What does random mode do?

Random mode will add or subtract anywhere from 1-20 minutes to the programmed on/off times to create a random pattern. Ideal when on vacation so the lights turn on and off at various times each day giving the home a more “lived in” appearance.
