This is a good indoor camera for basic security or monitoring. Took me about a minute to set up and connect to my wifi router. I downloaded the app on my phone and was using camera within 5 minutes. The resolution is ok for most things and has 720p resolution. I could hear conversation from about 10 feet away. Please see snapshot image below from the camera using the app.The camera has a little difficulty with quick movements but at this price that is to be expected. I bought 2 of these in Mexico from Amazon Mexico. They were delivered rapidly to my door. A cinch to set up but when I left for the USA, one quit then the other, a week later. I tried remote access for about a month and gave up. Then I got a notice about a firmware upgrade and checked the cams to find them both working. I was able to install the upgrade from the USA even with the cams connected via WIFI. The iPhone, tp cam app was also updated and everything has been rosy since. These folks are paying attention. Motion detection works but the IR has somewhat limited range. What does one expect from a cam with this retail pricing. If you are on a budget, give them a try.

I was hoping for a basic indoor camera that would do motion-activated recording. The NC250 will send notifications to your iOS or Android device, but doesn't record. Or maybe it does, but with near zero documentation and an extremely basic app, it's hard to tell what this camera can do. There is a Windows only app available, but I'm not a Windows user so no idea what that app can do.Performance wise, the day and night vision are just OK. I found the day video too contrasty to really see much of anything, and it easily gets overwhelmed by any sort of background lighting. Didn't test the audio.There may be some use cases for this product, but not for me.

Constantly dropping packets and resetting. I have other TP-Link stuff that works great but this camera did not.

Everything about this camera from the stand to the hardware to the software is utter garbage.Pros: It matches the white furniture in my nursery.Cons: (1) The stand is cheap and poorly designed with barely any ability to be angled downward. If you plan on having this up anywhere above eye level you will need to wall-mount it.(2) The camera itself provides poor resolution in both daytime and nighttime settings. It says 720p but the images are heavily pixelated almost to the point of being unintelligible. It looks a lot more like 480p.(3) The software is the worst part of this product by a mile. The phone app constantly returns an "Unable to connect to the camera. Please check your network" error despite having a stable and strong connection to my router. This happens on every phone tested (3 so far), both Android and Apple. The app also freezes constantly, sometimes so severely on my Samsung phone that it requires a hard restart (by removing the battery).And if you try to access the camera via the cloud feature from a PC you can only do so using a small selection of browsers; both Chrome and Opera are entirely unsupported.Setup was also frustrating. The camera initially synced with my network and the app seamlessly, but then shortly thereafter the app stopped being able to find the camera on the network requiring me to perform a factory reset on the camera and starting from scratch.

I've got three of these to use as security cam,only needed cable for the initial set up, then it can be wireless as long as power is on.Used my phone and followed instruction, it takes about 10 minutes as the app promotes an firmware update.No complians at this price, wifi connection seems pretty stable.

I bought this camera to keep an eye on the house while I was gone for two weeks on vacation. Set up was very quick and easy and the app let me view the feed remotely with no issues. Night vision was clear, the image simply looked black and white.The only warning I have is that apparently motion detection has to be set up locally, I could not activate it from the app while I was away.

Buen producto. Es una cámara que cumple, da buena resolución, la visión nocturna es más que aceptable y es fácil de instalar y configurar. Lo mejorable sería dentro de la app, la cual es muy básica y no te permite configurar desde tu celular las opciones de detección de movimiento y sonido, eso se tiene que hacer desde una PC, sin embargo, no lo considero tan fundamental como para no darle las 5 estrellas.
