Protection from common pocket contents
Purchased a glowing one for a previous mod to protect it from keys. I put a decal on the RPM 40, so this time I tried clear. The decal can be seen clearly through it and now I not only protect the mod with the decal, but I protect the decal with the case. Some juice does get caught in the cap if it isn't wiped off or dried out before the cap is put back. This is to be expected. The fact that the juice stays caught in the cap actually says that it is working to keep stuff out, too.The cap has yellowed a bit, but not so much that it looks dirty. It can also be cleanly removed from the case if you prefer not to use the cap at all. The case was a super tight fit when it arrived and had to be "massaged" into place. It now fits relatively well and only has to be pushed up occasionally after a day of use. The keychain loop is rather durable and will allow attaching a carabiner to it to hang the mod from a belt loop. Overall, it is a small price to pay for the amount of protection and convenience this case provides.
